[Q] Cannot Download in "DOWNLOAD MODE" i9500

Yesterday i gave my i9500 for screen replacement and also asked them to install the latest Lollipop 5.0.1 and they did it; but unfortunately, when I wanted to Install CWM I noticed in the download mode that there is a new added line "Secure download mode : Enabled" and the phone isn't detected in Download Mode.
Any assistance is highly appreciated :good:

If your Phone is Not Rooted & Still Official Recovery You are using Try to Recover with Samsung Kies Most of the issues it'll solve...
Did you Check before Flashing the Drivers & Proper AP/PDA section??
More important are you Flashing the Correct Firmware for your Device???
Yeah cant connect to kies back then but i found a trick to passe that fail in odin when upgrading to 5.0.1 : when it freezed i reopened the download mode and put the n910h root in odin and then it succeded and the phone rebooted and bootlooped i then could access the recovery mode , i wiped everything and the phone just worked but with the 4.4.4 .
I tried one more time with the same procedure but when i opened the recovery mode i just hit reboot and the phone now has a rooted lollipop 5.0.1 even though i got a fail in odin.
But i v got very strange stuff going on with my phone :
-First i checked my s/n and imei with phone info and it showed a N910C not N910H
-I dont have a csc code and when i want to check it with phone info this popup shows up :
Error type 2
android.util.AndroidException: Can't connect to activity manager is the system running?
at
com.android.commands.am.Am.onRun(Am.Java:301)

I just dont find the csc code ..
A dm-verity verification failed shows up in the recovery mode

bootloader problem on s6edge+

hey guys im sorry if i post this on the wrong section but i followed this tutorial: droidviews(dot)com/root-galaxy-s6-and-s6-edge-on-android-6-0-1-marshmallow-update/ to root my s6 edge+ and it went black... after some research i found out the tutorial wasnt for my device(SM-G2928F) so i flashed it with cf-autoroot and then it boot looped for like an hour. I downloaded the original greek firmware from sammobile but it brings me up this error: SECURE CHECK FAIL : (BOOTLOADER).. any help?
UPDATE: changed the port and run Odin as admin now it says: SECURE CHECK FAIL : (RADIO) Odin log: pastebin(dot)com/4w1943HF
UPDATE: now when I exit recovery mode it doesnt start and tells me: An error has occured while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software.(I can still go into recovery mode)
Let me check you have flashed a firmware not for your device with odin or just a zip? First I would try flashing the most recent firmware you can find for your device with odin, some bootloaders can't be downgraded. If that doesn't work then the emergency firmware recovery will work, I've used kies emergency firmware a few times.
Hopefully someone with your device will point you in the right direction if you are stuck
I flashed a firmware not for my device but I found a solution on another XDA post thank you

Bricked my SM-T537V? Help :(

Playing around trying to do something to install something different then I screw up.
I was trying to put TWP something recovery and now I can't boot.
Anyway to get it back to stock? Please help!
On boot is say
Security Fail: Recovery
Yellow exclamation mark
System Software not authorized
Please help
1) Find your model number
2) Download
3) Extract
4) add to AP line in odin
5) Flash to tablet in download mode

Galaxy S5 SM-G900W8 failed to root

Hey guys,
I tried to root my gf's S5 with CF-AutoRoot's package. I got this for the specific version which I double-checked
Included in the package was Odin and the image with an "installer".
Everything was fine, device detected in Odin, selected image in AP and let it rip... Except I got an error after it was in the process, under UDC start, can't remember exactly as I had restarted the device with the loading bar at like 30% of the way... it stated something dev_state
After I restarted, I got the "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again."
I would've thought it was going to be pretty straight forward and decided not to do a backup but I'm so getting killed if I'm going to lose the data!!!
Any insight? thanks
I tried to get Samsung Kies for the recovery but under the list of devices requiring emergency recovery it won't detect it...
I managed to retry the Odin flash with the same outcome.
The error message is unsupport dev_type if that makes any sense to someone
Well issue seems to have fixed itself by flashing latest TWRP... The Odin flash went smooth and phone booted normally...
must've been something off with the AutoRoot
