Hi!
Does anybody know if it is possible to fix and fit G2 display and replace it to G2 D802 display?
My G2 D802 display broke down so I ordered and bought new one in US. Unfortunately and accidentally I ordered G2 display which had one joiner (that connects display to upper computer) too long to fit the gate of D802. In attachment photo shows that left side have D802 computer and new G2 display, right side is old broken D802 display.
Is somehow possible to connect G2 display to D802 and phone still working?
Regards,
Mikael from Finland

No way that will work. You need to contact the seller and get the proper display.

No, the screen model was for "normal" G2. When I ordered new screen I didn't actually know that my phone was d802.. Didn't know that there were different models at the same phone so I just ordered first display what the seller offers. So it's my mistake, irritates little bit..

I have contact the seller and they can send me new, proper display. BUT I should have to pay both shipments costs and also custom payment.. That + wrong display fee total amount would be almoust same than buy new one. Fortunately I have backup phone so maybe I just spare those shipment fees and buy some other phone in the near future.
Why don't you sell the wrong one on ebay?

Yeah, probably you are right. So in USA or UK you have another writing on sticker? Till now i understand it like that:
D802, D805 - One connection
D801, D803, D800, F320 - another
LS980 VS980 and Korean Version of G2 - third one.
Well its 200$ to repair officially or 80$ to get from China and replace for 20$. Will take the risk.
From where did you find a D802 Lcd + digitizer + glass assembly for $80? I paid 170€ for mine -_-
Also it's very easy to replace the screen by yourself.

They are on ebay already too for 90$ Check seller usmobileparts. The item is called OEM display, so i speaked with some peoples they told it may be not so bright etc, but the quality should be OK.
Anyways i get my one to official LG repair service, becouse phone is only week old, and repairign myself would void warranty.
Meh. My screen broke 4 days after I got my g2 and repaired it by myself

Hey guys, hopefully you can help me out.
On the second day after buying it, it fell from 4 feet to a concrete floor, now the screen is partially broken (10% of the screen, where's it's cracked, fails to respond to input...that's what you get for using an expensive phone without a cover, while being very tired).
In my country, they sell the LG G2 D806 sub model.
I have someone in the US who can get me a replacement of the LCD & the digitizer. But the problem is that I was able to find one that says it works for the D801 & D802 models, I don't know if they are compatible with mine, D806.
Can anyone confirm is they should be compatible and recommend a good place to get them, if these are not good?
Thanks!
U can reach out LG service center.. It will will cost you 120$

Hi, I can't seem to find one for cellphones here, http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair-service/find-repair-provider
Do you know how can I contact one?
Hello!
I have a little problem with my phone:
I broke the moherboard of my LG G2 D802 and so I bought a LG G2 L980 (Sprint) with a broken screen and battery on ebay for 60$. Then I replaced the motherboard of my D802 with the working one from the LS980.
So far so good. But now when I turn on the device, the touchscreen is not usable. If I touch the right corner for example, the screen reacts on a different place. It seems that everything is completely mixed.
I already tryed it with another D802 screen of a friend, but same problem there. I also tryed to test the motherboard with another Sprint LG G2 and there everything works fine!
I dont know whats wrong.... Anybody has a idea to fix that?
Thank you.
And sorry for my english
have you managed to fix it? Does sprint motherboard works on D802?
I just broke the screen on my LG G2 D802 And I had JUST got installed as I liked it..
Now the question is if try to replace the screen myself or do I upgrade to either the G3 or G4?
Its cheaper to buy a used G3 than getting someone to replace the screen
Any good advice?

I have replaced my screen by paying $30 only. How in the world does G3 was cheaper than the LCD replacement?
I meant if I had too turn it in for repair
Just buy a screen with the frame for 30 bucks, did it to my girlfriends g2 and it really is the most economical way of keeping this phone alive
