Try galaxy sim unlock from google play store i think will work
You need to have root on your device

Google for one of those sites that sim unlock phones. Check if there is a code available for your model in that carrier.
A friend just bought L720 on Ebay and didn't realize it is carrier locked.
Could someone tell me if it is possible to easily unlock for any carrier use ? does it require hardware modification ?
Does it require ROOT ?

from what ive heard it can only be unlocked for overseas use and sprint would have to unlock it but they will only do it if you have been a customer for 90 days but there is a thread which will help your friend unlock it for overseas use wont work with domestic sim cards though

She needs the unlock for international carrier. is that possible without being a Sprint client ?

Only way I know is to buy a code from eBay or elsewhere online.

Is there a way to unlock the factory locked (Verizon, etc..) Galaxy S5, and make it work with any phone network in the world?
Please tell me about all the possible ways. Thank you.
I bought my S5 from a Canadian carrier which had network locked the phone.
All it took to unlock my S5 was a simple unlock code and a sim card from an alternate service provider.
Depending on where you look, you can find unlock codes online for varying prices, I bought my unlock code from cellunlocker.net and it took me roughly 5 hours to receive the code via email from them. All I needed to do afterwards was input the provided unlock code and my phone was instantly network unlocked.

Verizon lte phones come unlocked straight out of the box. ..

What about Sprint? And does that mean it could be used with AT&T or T-Mobile?

Yes sometimes it was cheaper to get unlock code from other source rather than from a carrier. i try several times phoneunlockingshop.ca and find it cheaper then the carrier here in Canada
hi all i just got a Galaxy Grand Prime from t-mobile i want to sim unlock it and i know there are websites who can sim unlock if for like $12 bucks but all of the sites say them same thing if your device does not prompt you for unlock , or you using a Remote Unlocking APP the unlock will not work so my question is there a work around the to remote app because t-moible has the app in the phone and i want to unlock it for international use.
