htc said devices like S710d/E Desire S are going to update to ICS4+SENSE4

In China the HTC has reported the news that the HTC S710d ,s710e,Desire HD,sesation(China mobile/China unicom) ……will be update to Android4.0

Fortunately,My device‘s version is hongkong

That's obvious fake.

All is true except sense4. This at least shows perfect porting possibility because their hardware are almost the same as desire hd.
It is definitely official notification and not fake.

[StreakPro] What is the current firmware available for Streak Pro (Std or Custom)

What is the current firmware/rom available for Streak Pro (Standard or Custom) and where can I get them?
I have the Streak Pro with the current install, which has a problem with sending/recieving MMS messages (it cant ><).
Android: 2.3.5
Baseband: MILLM1A106100-World Wide-Dell
Kernel: 2.6.35.11-perf+ [email protected] #1
OEM: MILLM1A106100
Build: 061-World Wide-Dell

What was the original rom? I dont know if 061 was even available preinstalled, afaik it's a leak.
068 is the latest EMobile rom and
080 is the latest Softbank rom.
I dont even know the version number for the latest Yi rom as I need a brave volunteer to install it/assist in getting info.
068/080 are patch updates, which means you need the original rom to install them, and the original roms havnt leaked in a usable maner.
(I would also attempt to port CWM and decrypt the 068/080 updates and many other things if I had access to a skilled volunteer)
TL;DR: you cant upgrade in any direction except to Yi for the time being, unless you want to use an earlier rom.

Hey friends,
this thread is a friendly reminder how to activate 'multiple windows' on your Elephone P9000.
Most of you know how to achieve it, but there are still some guys out there who are clueless.
No credits to me ))
As always: Not my fault if you delete or add the wrong ones, be careful(!)
First of all:
1. You Need to have root http://bbs.elephone.hk/thread-9919-1-1.html
2. Now you download as example 'Root explorer' https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.rootexplorer&hl=de (links of cracks wont be supported)
3 .Now navigate to "System"

4. Click on build.prop and open it with your favorite text Editor (included one is more than enough)
5. Now add this to your last line; persist.sys.debug.multi_window=true
6. Afterwards save it, restart your phone and voila )))

Its also enabled in Eragon 2.8 ROM, afaik its not possible to root Stock 31052016 with the known method, so no chance to use that tutorial at the moment.
I tested the feature and its funny to play around with, but i do not think i will use it very often: Even on the "big" P9000 5,5 inch screen the splitted apps are very small and hard to use.

Haven't rooted yet. I really miss multi-window from my S4, YouTube video running at the bottom and reddit at the top for me to read through. The UI on this split screen looks worse though, no divider, no focus (it seems).

if i am asking here is because i supposed to found expert people or at least someone with my doubts ..
anyway despite question appearing stupid , for who want help i put more details:
i have ZC520TL (ASUS_X008D) with WW_Phone-13.1.0.51-20170309 , as i can read should be a new version available, but automatic update is not working - so looking everywhere and especially in asus site, i have found some firmwares (compatible looking instructions)
i have tried to install (manually) following versions (in brackets result)
WW14.10.1708.58 (dead man android with red triangle)
UL-ASUS_X008_1-WW-13.1.0.56-user.zip (unknown error (3))
UL-ASUS_X008_1-WW-14.10.1707.46-user.zip (unknown error (3))
maybe someone else had same problem? or someone having already nougat 7 can share his-her firmware version number with me so i can try to install it?

for someone could be interested, i left this info before leave this forum
on 29/12 was released last version WW-14.10.1711.92 (i am using it now )
i made upgrade i had 13.1.0.51 , then manually ->WW-13.1.0.56 , then manually WW-14.10.1711.92 (nougat) and finally WW-14.10.1711.92 (last one was automatic)
if you have still a fw with marshmallow you can try to upgrade directly to WW-14.10.1711.92 , if will be an error ,don't worry, installation will be interrupted and phone rebooted without consequence - in that case you can update to WW-13.1.0.56 and then to WW-14.10.1711.92
