How to check /which serial no. before buying(screen alignemnt)

I've been reading , and many ppl are having the screen alignment issues with the hermes, it seems the older version have been the one which are majorly affected the by screen alignment bug ,
I read the wiki , can anyone tell me how do I first check the serial no. of the device without purchasing it ? I mean is it on the box itself ?
as of now which is a safer version to go for considering I am going to use dopop838 pro

I have an early HTC Tytn and have not had any problems. Contrary to many people saying don't buy anything earlier than 63x. My serial number begins with HT628Fxxxxxx and it works great. The 28 represents that the unit was manufactured the 28th week of the year I believe.

now I am confused ,it seems like luck now , that someppl got issues , some ppl just dont
my problem is going to be that I won't be able to give the device back ,since in India there are no service centres , and I am asking my brother to get it for me from hongkong
so now 628 also works , anything i should I ask my brother to look out for ?

Try to stay away from HT62XXXX and HT63[1-5]XXX series ... Some of them have shown SA issues if you are unlucky ..

I bought a dopod 838pro HT636XXX last month and it's NO SA but the keyboard letter not so sensitive....
for SA free --- look for HT638XXXX up for sure, but also look for keyboard issue...
Seems to be HTC hired a lot of dumb service/QA people this time..

368xxx up it is , now let's pray for my luck , my brother will go and check it out 2morrow ,i hope they will have 368xx or above in stock !!

hello to everyone of s2 community .finally i got my s2 in hand s superb fone but but but i am faceing problem in 3d games and applications most of them not working and in some getting error saying frame buffer error unsopperted in games..its stock firmware i have not tuched any system files yet any suggestion s to help me out ya and also in quadrants 3d test most of textures are missing and they looks plane ,i need help badly ...thanks

That could be a bigger issue with your phone. Try a new rom costum or stock. If that doesnt help. Back to shop

DO NOT try a new rom nor a custom rom .
Factory reset the phone if that does not clear up the problem return to seller or service centre .

ohh is that really so serious i thought it wos a minor bug i faced the same problem in my old galaxy sl after upgradeing to gb rom and could not figure out till the end .....but cant i do it myself cause here service center guys are known for swaping old parts fot new hehe also no one else had face this problem before ?????

If you've not touched the phone there is something wrong there. Quadrant is fine on mine, and most games tend to work now so i'd say factory reset, and if no joy, take it back and get it replaced with another new one (depending on how long you've had it)

Help Plz, my X5 pro stolen

Hello guys my x5 pro has been stolen yesterday.i flashd this new miui rom so no tracking app was installed except for gmaps.please help me and tell me how to retrieve it. I am from india.i have filed police complaint but no luck.please help me guys.

Install Prey Anti Theft from google play. If the phone have an internet connection the app is installed and you can track it.
However I can not remember whether it is necessary set up the account on your phone.
But probably the thief already reinstalled the firmware...

Any resonable way to solve your problem is a Letter to one of google offices

Any one know the Samsung Group CEO email as i want to esclate samsung egypt becouse my Note3 got sudden death 3 times with in 2 month and they didnt do any action or changed it just changing the motherboard and based on the warrenty it should be changed.

[Q] Nexus 4 problem

Few days ago, nexus 4 had an accident and fell . Anyways screen was repaired and when cellphone is turned on .. screen is working but it doesnt go more than those 4 circles of nexus 4 doesnt even go to the PIN entry . My question does that mean that cellphone is not working cause something of hardware is still broken or there is some kind of loop in the system . Android version kitkat laatest update ROOTED .
