I have a samsung galaxy grand 2 sm-g7105. It's running on 4.4.2 kitkat, rooted and i changed my recovery to cwm.
I would really like to have my phone running on cyanogenmod. Since i've seen that there are two cyanogenmod roms (11 & 12) for sm-g7102, I was wondering if i could flash it also on my sm-g7105?

Hi guys,
I have a little problem with my phone that makes it impossible to install 4.4 ROM's.
It keeps rebooting back in recovery or it hangs at the samung boot logo after i flash the rom.
With the CM 11 rom i managed to get past the samsung boot logo but sadly enough it gets stuck on boot(even after several wipes)
I always make sure to do all the wipes that are needed (normally provided in the rom thread)
4.3 roms install without problems btw.

I just bought a Galaxy S4 I9505. It was on 4.2.2 and I just flashed it to KitKat 4.4 (I9505XXUFNB9). But I just found out the Miui v5 ROM (here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2657322) and I loved their theme (I would like to install iOS 7 theme).
Can I flash this ROM even if this MIUI version is based on Android 4.2.2 ? I heared that installing a ROM that doesn't support Knox while you were on a ROM that supported it is not so good for our Galaxy S4... So I prefer to ask, just in case.

You cant flash a 4.2.2 rom on 4.4.2......you had your answere with you no need was there to ask
guys i am having a recovery problem on all the roms...i tried to flash 3 roms but they all are not flashing...only the first rom is flashing correctly cm12 rom by TeamCanjica any other rom cm12 didnt flash and the miui rom also didnt flash...i have a samsung galaxy s4 i9500.

It's rooted and has the 5.0 leakt rom, the one without normalsilent mode.
Now is my question can I install the darklord s6 rom for note 3 ?

If you have root and custom recovery installed then install what you like. As for how to flash it you may want to read up some more before you make the jump.

yes you can just install custom recovery like TWRP, i tested draklord n5 RC 2.1 on my n9005 and it is:good:

I have a rooted Grand 2 with stock Android Jelly Bean 4.3 running on it. I didn't get the KitKat upgrade for some reason.
I want to install custom ROMS like CM or Blisspop but both of these require Android Kitkat running on the phone (Correct me if I am wrong).
1) Is there some way for me to upgrade to KitKat first and then install the above mentioned ROMS?
2) Are there any ROMS available which I can flash directly on JellyBean?

there is only one ROM available for Jelly bean that is [E2]Gennxt PreRooted ROM...i think the link for this ROM is removed by the developer..... So first download the latest KitKat firmware for ur country via Sammobiles and flash it via Odin... and flash custom recovery via Odin or recovery.img via Flashify then flash CM or Blisspop or many more....
