hi.. i have installed on my htc hd2 miui v.21 , everything is working except the 3g is not working and there is no symbol for 3g or edge or any other connection..
and i did the apn settings but still get the same results.. and in *#*#4636#*#*
i tried gsm only , wcdma preferred , gsm/cdma ... same problem no ping..
any idea ? help :'(

try the neu one MIUI 24.2 from NDT ,works great for me,had the same problem whith 21
its the same with 24.1 , i didnt try 42.2 i'll try it now and then i'll tell u the results..

Try full permissions to "/system/etc/ppp" folder on both these files "/system/etc/ppp/pap-secrets" and "/system/etc/ppp/chap-secrets"
But if problem from ROM , every reboot you must make again.
there is just one file in that directory.. "ip-up-vpn"

I have a surieux prb in my screen .
If i decrease my light to min my screen start fleckering and its split to tow part one its dark without fleckering and the other with fleckering .
I do some actions:
*Start my phone to security mode -->prb still
*Flash to stock kernel --->still the same prb
*Flash stock rom-->prb still
*Try to go devleppers option and check the disable hardwar overlay ----> still the some prb .
I know that is the hardwar prb but is it the lcd prb or the mother board?? cause i play some games and my phone goes very hots and still the same prb.

Hey!! That worked for me anyway i created a flashable zip for you. Flash it and tell does it work for you or not.
SideKeyPort.zip
After Flashing this, you need to download QuickPanel Manager (by Xperiacle) from playstore.
Open the app tap on edit and then go to the bottom of the list and add
SideKey;
That's It. It should work now.

Stock B604 Here. The switch is there, but it's disabled until you have sound for calls on. Anyhow if your sound profile is on should mod it should play the sound

To have this switch visible you need a valid path to bootSound.ogg
I know two possibilities, but with balong error the cust may not work.
1. Under the system => /system/media/audio/animationsounds/bootSound.ogg
2.Under the Cust (for EU location) => /cust/hw/eu/media/audio/animationsounds/bootSound.ogg
This work together with a valid bootanimation.

You know how there are 3 settings for calls: Sound, Vibrate and Silent? Choose sound. You can do it by pressing vol up in the home screen

Even if the switch is not there I think call sound notification will get the boot sound to work too

One more site to have bootSound.ogg => /system/etc/media/audio/animationsounds/bootSound.ogg
Maybe in your case some settings are hidden and do not show the switch. In my case if I broken the path or remove the bootsound file the switch desapear.
Can you do some tests?
I can try your prop files or other files.

Check mine, unzip first.
step 1 : download indian verion eui 5.8.016s version ... (no root required ) ..
step 2: install it
step 3: use ur main gmail after installing in mobile ..
step 4: open finger print app and click ok option for photos to capture ..
step 5: open camera app .. and try to take pics with fingerprint ...(if it captures ...close the application and try to open again finger print app ..try to add finger print if it add u r lucky )or else try next step ....
step 6: if pics not capture in camera app ... close the application and try to add fingerprint in finger print app.. if not succeedd ... don't worry ...
step7 : calibarte the fingerprint (note : don't try to add fingerprint now ) close the app ... and go for factory reset ...
step 8: after factory reset ... check the same finger print process again as given above methods .. now go to recovery clean all data ,wipe ,cache ... after that come back and check again fingerprint ...
step 9: if it works leave here and started working or else if not works install indian eui 5.8.019s rom and install it .... after installing .. use same methods as given (note: only use gmail which u given as above rom ) ..
this will 100% work ... carefully do every step ... it works i am sure ... i solved this problem in letv le max 2 and letv 2 and lemax 2 x829 ...

For me It doesn't work. I did all the steps in several different combinations. With India 16s, India 19s roms. My fingerprint sensor probably is dead because of hardware problem. It has always been problematic. Only thing I havent tested lately is India 15s rom or something like that rom. I remember it used to resurrect fingerprint sensor for me some half a year ago.
If your fingerprint take photo this method is good

For me the solution to get fingerprint working is very simple but first do not touch the fingerprint calibration ever because it ruins every thing ( sorry for my english )
1 : your phone must be on stock rom
2: reboot your phone
3: go to app management ---> com.qualcomm.qt.biometrics.fingerprint.service and do clear data and cash and force stop
4: restart the phone
5: go again to app management ---> com.qualcomm.qt.biometrics.fingerprint.service and just do clear data and cash
6: wait 5 minutes so the phone can cool down, the temperature must be under 30 c .
7: try to add fingerprint and you'll be surprised
