HELP! Need to reinstall stock firmware on Galaxy S5! (SM-G900W8) - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was running CM 11 until it decided not to work, so then genius me, I went in to TWRP recovery and decided to wipe EVERYTHING. I have nothing left besides download and TWRP recovery mode. I am using JOdin on my mac, but that has only ended in failure as I can neither retrieve a pit file or use one that I have downloaded as it continuously comes up as corrupt. Does anyone know how I can get a non corrupt PIT file?

[Q] Bootloop Problem after trying to unroot SM-N910F

Can anyone help?
I was rooted, but on original stock ROM. I tried to unroot using the option in the Super SU app, as a couple of essential apps I use wouldn't work with root. Having clicked the option, my note 4 has gone into a bootloop and I don't know how to recover it.
If I go into recovery I get a message saying "dm-verity verification failed". Any ideas?
I have the international (unlocked) SM-N910F, and I use a mac, so don't have odin. I have Kies installed and Hiemdall, but am really unsure as to what I'm doing with that software....
Thanks in advance!
Further to the last post, I've tried to use Odin 3.09 to flash the stock firmware for my model. I'm using it in Parallels, and it recognises the phone, but won't assign the .md5 file to the AP box to flash it. Not sure why?
I've also tried Heimdall on Mac, but it can't download the PIT file from the phone!
Has anyone got any solutions or workarounds they can suggest?
Thanks in advance....
Try installing stock on a pc then go to recovery and clear cache

Stuck on recovery after using CF-Auto-Root

So I have a galaxys s5 g900f which i cleared it from a rom i used before and got it back to the original form of it. Got the .tar.md5 file of the official galaxy software from sammobile and installed it with odin. After that I wanted to root my phone again and stick with the official software. I tried to do that by the way I always used to with CF-Auto-Root using Odin once more and after downloading the file my phone was normally rebooting to recovery but it actually got stuck there without doing anything. Tried to flash twrp too but still nothing. The only thing i can flash at the time is the official software. Anyone had this issue before and can help? Thanks in advance
Flash the stock ROM again and get your phone back up and working properly
Then use this guide to root / twrp

Help Needed Please

Hi
I have managed to F*** up my Samsung S7 Edge.
I am currently stuck on Samsung Logo , I have twrp 3.1.0.1 installed and can enter bootloader without issue.
I cannot however install stock rom through Odin, it states pit file needed, I have tried several with no results.
In twrp unable to Wipe data as unable to mount storage. Not able to install from zip as pc does not see storage.
I have tried the following stock firmware
G935FXXU1DQC4_G935FOXA1DQB1_BTU
I have tried installing new CSC which i believe has pit file inbedded.
I have tried installing each part separately BL,AP,CSC, etc
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Did you uncheck "repartition" in Odin? Do NOT repartition.

Hi Yes I did.
Hi All
Update after 18hrs i have managed to rectify the above problem.
I downloaded a Marshmallow firmware and installed CSC file. This flashed the missing pit file and then got stuck on Nand Write Start. I tried installing full firmware but same issue. I then attempted Nougat full firmware which installed!!!!!
That was slightly more stressful than it should of been. Never happened before. Some seriously dodgy looks from the Mrs.

Did you ever do a back up if your system in twrp that you can restore in twrp? If not, do you know what your stock operating system is? When you flag in Odin the phone needs to be in download mode and you should have 4 files that you place in the different sections that are shown in Odin (the BL file goes in the BL section, AP goes in AP section, and etc.) In Odin you flash .tar files, not .bin files. Google the correct build for your phone and model and download the 4 files. For twrp, you need a flashable .zip that will work for your model or a version that you would put in a twrp backup file and restore from twrp.
Just Download You'r Firmware from the link and flash it with odin.
Dont use any .pit file

Might have Bricked S7 Edge SM-935FD. Need Help to recover

Hello guys
My phone is Galaxy S7 Edge Duos- SM935FD. I seem to have bricked the device.
Below are the actions I have performed.
1. Flashed TWRP using ODIN as described on https://www.the***********.com/root-samsung-galaxy-s7-edge/
2. Booted successfully into the OS. Found superuser app installed.
3. When I went to back to Flash ROM i erased multiple things such as internal storage/dalvik/cache/system after which device got stuck in bootloop. Showing NO OS.
4. I tried flasing Custom ROM Zip files through OTG. The process failed showing package corrupt and still stuck in bootloop.
I can enter recovery/download mode however cant seem to get the device booted. How can I get the device to work either Custom or stock ROM.
I will be going through some threads in the meantime, your guidance is very much appreciated.
Flash stock rom with Odin: This shouldnt be posted on Development Forum but rayher questions and Answers.
Find what your Stock Firmware for your phone is using Sammobile and flash stock then re do rooting and TWRP Process
zzThrain is right -- I wouldn't risk flashing custom ROMs at this stage, especially because many contain new bootloaders or other stuff that might make this even worse for you. Just pick up the relevant Samsung stock ROM file (from, for example, SamMobile) and see if it boots normally again. Once it does, re-do the process *after checking all MD5s of the files you used* -- I, too, have had it happen before that a download went corrupted and I flashed it. If all is well, get into Download Mode and let Odin rip.

Go to recovery mode & transfer rom to phone using pc. wipe cache, delvikcache, data only. No need to wipe internal sd. Install rom & reboot.
if you phone goes to recovery or download mode, no need to worry. If it doesn't go to neither recovery nor download mode, them your phone might have probably bricked.
It's my pleasure to help you if you still facing this problem

Hi
I tried flashing stock rom from sammobile. I could find for SM-935FD hence downloaded SM-935F.
It got stuck at 90% showing System in ODIN.
From the ZIP file which is the file that needs to be flashed among below ? I tried AP.
AP_G935FXXU2DRB6_CL12365438_QB16944063_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar
BL_G935FXXU2DRB6_CL12365438_QB16944063_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
CP_G935FXXU2DRAG_CL648265_QB8691891_SIGNED.tar
CSC_OJV_G935FOJV2DRAG_CL12785220_QB16560277_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
HOME_CSC_OJV_G935FOJV2DRAG_CL12785220_QB16560277_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
Now when I try again it immediately shows FAIL. Am i Flashing the right stock rom ?
It Worked. Thanks to all who helped.
I wasn't running ODIN as Admin and also was using an slightly older version V3.10.7.
