Anyone got CIFS working? Sideloaded CiFSmanager and its not working for me
Detecting loaded modules from the about button fails in CIFSmanager.
Tried manually directing it to the modules but did not find the /modules under /system/lib

Hi, can you compile support for the following driver into this kernel?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30273196&postcount=24
The source is provided there.
All I can say is 'Wow!'. I've spent the last few months with my Nexus Player on stock kernel and such. I liked it well enough, but it was sluggish and sometimes unresponsive. I can't believe how much of a difference this kernel made! Awesome job, and thank you!
5.1 compatibility.
A senior member chimed in a few days ago asking about whether Uneashed is compatible with Android 5.1. I really want to upgrade, so I'd like to second that question. Has anyone tried Unleashed on 5.1 yet? I'm rather scared to try without confirmed success of others.
Thanks in advance.

Hey m4xx3d0ut,
can you please explain in detail how to install yourv3 patch to a Nexus 7 2013 running Pwn Pad 2014 only. I have tried what ppl have mentioned here, but am not able to get it to flash. either I can't find the img to install after I push it to the device, or if I zip the folder I can see it, but the install fails.
Please give us some detailed instructions.
I need to be able to use my OTG - Y adapter to charge my Nexus and use a usb device at the same time.
Thanks again for your hard work..
Will this kernel allow me to implement bcmon on my nexus 7 2013? Running CM 5.0.2?

Testing the Rom on Tab4 SM-T237P
Hi,
Sorry for not being as active as I should have, I have been tied up in multiple projects.
I was rooting a friends tab4 and was amazed that the very day I was attempting to do this a ROM had finally come out.
I was happy to test, but a little short on time, so I will tell you what I got done.
I had solved the problem of rooting and recovery using a separate thread devoted to a limited twrp based recovery and a stock image.
I rooted and recovered, loaded busy box and the app, but I wasn't using Philz.
I had great success integrating your ROM features with the stock and de-bloating/rooting.
I didn't want to chance him losing his spark service and he needed the tab back soon.
I didn't get to try both versions, but what I did try worked great. Of course, I ran into the terrible problem of this god awful Samsung MTP USB crisis that seems to exist, but I handled that with dropbox.
I appreciate the work, and hope to do further testing in the future. If I have another night with the Tab, I will try out the latest version.
PS. My noob friend is amazed by his NOW powerful and de-bloated device. He has reported no issues.
Thank you for the help and +1 for working with @moonbutt74 and putting together a great recovery/ROM pkg.
Keep it up!
@trevortf thank you for the report. Everything is reported working in both versions in the ROM thread. But if you find something broken please let me know.

Broken Bluetooth 5.4.0
First I want to thank you for all your time and effort. I use and love 5.3.9 as a daily driver. I was using the nightly CM12. My Nexus 7 2012 had gotten the point that the lag was so bad that I really could not use it. After I flashed your build it now works like it should. Thank you. I tried 5.4.0 with a dirty flash, but as soon as it booted it said Bluetooth share has stopped working, and I could not connect to any Bluetooth devices. I had to re-flash 5.3.9, and it works fine. I will ether wait for 5.4.1 or the official cm12.1 to flash again.
Smooth Running
I had some problems with 5.4.0. I now have 5.4.1, and everything is great again. Thank you very much form your effort.
