Hi Folks
Partner just got the uPro P3 as a replacement for the U8(standard none flashable/updatability version) and all in all she is VERY happy with it..
Only real issue is we can't seem to get it to use DATA/GPRS!!! no idea how to set it up or choose one of the predefined ones in the tip menu...
Anyone managed to get it working??? She's using a UK EE sim.

I have a MDA which is a PH10A, It all works fine apart from the phone,
Basically I bought it in good faith but was barred withing a couple of weeks on the UK network.
I have since removed the sim holder to use on another mobile.
everything else is in good working order though.
Let me know if interested in it.

How can I update the Network Wizard to include carriers here in the states? (specificaly Tmobile).
I'm having problems with a multitude of different things and would love to try using some prefab settings to see if they might help knock out a few of my issues.

Hi, I've tried searching about this and I'm really confused.. I hope someone can help me..
The video calling function is not working on my newly bought TyTn (I'm with Rogers right now), and I'm wondering if it will work if I upgraded it to WM6 (It's currently 5)?
Also, I can only find the upgrade for AT&T8525 on HTCs website, is TyTn the same as 8525? Or I can't apply this upgrade to TyTn? I'm afraid the phone will just stop working altogether after I upgrade it...
If anyone has any experience in this, please help me out.. Thanks alot in advance!
TyTn an 8525 are brother and sister. 8525 does not have the front camera. For a ROM upgrade, you're better off with one of the roms put together by the fine cooks here on XDA.
Video calling will not function unless you have a good 3G service.

Rogers provide a 3.5G service so as long as I upgrade the ROM, Video calling would work?
but do I need to get Rogers settings somehow transfered to the new ROM?

To be able to connect to 3g and the like you will need the operator settings.

Hello everyone,
Recently I bought an Advantage X7501 in New York and brought it to Europe. The phone works fine apart the SMS features (Win Mobile 6.0).
The most important issue I am trying to solve right now is to arrange the default location for SMS download to be Phone's memory and not the SIM card. Is this a feature programmable on SIM level or on Phone level?
Anyone having experience with this?

Hi guys i have looked through alot of threads and i couldn't find the info. Basically i bought a HTC HD2 from Hong Kong back into Jan. Recently i have apply a data plan which i really want to use but i've tried every setting from either my service provider(fido) or from the people online but i still can't get it to work. I called HTC a couple times and i've told taht there's no way around since they said the GPRS bandwidth doesnt match the on in North america. Does anyone knows if it's true? And is there another way to take around? my 1 last question would be does changing the ROM, firmware, radio would help? Thank you so much for every input from you guys!

From what I understand, it is true. The Touch HD2 you bought physically cannot use the 3g band in any network in Canada. I dont' think this is a software limitation, but a hardware limitation so there is nothing a ROM upgrade can do.
