I couldn't find an option to switch users on Galaxy S5(sm-g900f) running android 5 like on nexus. Does anyone know anything?
Seems to be missing this end too, should be at the top right of the pull down notifications window near the settings cog, and also under Settings > Device > Users, but not there in either on mine
Samsung will have disabled it.

A coworker of mine received the 4.4.2 update the other day for his Galaxy S4, but now his quick settings do not work. He can slide the notification tray up and down with no problem, but he can't select anything in the quick settings pane. It is like the pane doesn't register touch. Anyone else encounter this bug?
It is 4.4.2, build KOT49H.S0001.131204 on Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition

Yes I am having this problem to and I rooted my G S4 with omnirom and the quick settings worked but as soon as i restored it with titanium backup and stopped letting me click on it.
so i am switching from a Galaxy S4 to a Nexus 6P, and the location of the menu is very difficult to access.
Is there a tweak that makes the menu appear at the center of the screen? see the screenshots below.
Why the hells samsung removed System UI tuner? Or it's me that cannot find this controls outside?
Now we cannot control the notifications properly... with the levels. Whatsapp for ex gives annoying previews over each and every message and now only exist 2 options on notifications or put it silently (no preview + no sound) or preview+ sound... what a stupid move.
Also each notification wakes the screen... any way to turn this off?
If this is true, I'll happily skip the nougat update

Yeah but you see. Like thread starter mentioned. If enable show silently ur apps will completely silence. No notification sound and vibrate. He just want to disable the heads up notification only. Not the sound. Marshmallow seeting is better because they separate it.
ive been having issues with this as well ever since i bought my S7 Edge, coming from Nexus 6 i really miss the advance notification control inside AOSP. anyway to enable it in s7 nougat roms?
thanks
Hello, i just updated to android 7.0.
All went just fine, but i am not happy with connected gear fit manager notification.
Is there a way how to disable it (see highlighted in attachment).
I looked in notification centre and i cant deny access to this app. Just to set it as priority one (another photo in attachment).
Is there a way how to disable that notification ( on not rooted phone)?
I've checked on this before, trying to prevent it on my phone as well.
So far as I can tell or find, the simple answer is no. Not on an unrooted phone.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) on Android 7.0 w/ Samsung Themes v4.0.98.80319
Until recently, one of my options for the Always On Display was to use what came with a theme (for those that supplied AODs). If I selected something else, that option disappeared; however, I could get it back simply by re-applying the theme.
Without warning my AOD changed to the default and I lost the themed option in the AOD settings. Reapplying, or even deleting/ reinstalling doesn't give me the themed option back.
What's changed? Or has an updated somewhere meant that I now have to grant a permission somewhere (which I haven't found yet)?
Suggestions appreciated.
Hello,
There were some news posted earlier this month stating that this feature was removed from non flagship devices because it caused problems such as glitching. I remember reading it in the update, but I can't find the update notes from the Galaxy Apps Store.
If you go to settings and then apps, and find the AOD app, tap the three buttons on the upper right corner and tap on uninstall updates.
Hope this helps.
Yep, uninstalling the updates did the trick. Thanks.
