Custom Kernel N9005 - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there already for the N9005 Android 50. Lollipop features a custom kernel?

I think this belongs in the Q&A thread, anyways there's temasek's, yank's and zion's kernels for AOSP and I think AEL kernel for tw based roms.

but yes the AEL kernel does not run on Android 5.0, there is another?

First of all, questions go into Q&A, as said above. Development sections are only for publishing your work and further discussion regarding development.
As for the custom kernel. Samsung has not released Lollipop kernel sources so there is no custom Lollipop kernel for TouchWiz yet, though there are custom kernels for AOSP-based ROMs (CyanogenMod, Temasek's ROM etc).

Rom installation - Android development vs Unified Android development

The install process for ROMS located in the android original development threads seem to be different than installation for roms in the Unified development section. It seems the unified roms require a custom recovery like TWRP to be installed (which I do not/ cannot have). Do the unified roms work with safestrap like the original roms do? Is it possible to install CM based roms on my s5 with safestrap?
Can someone explain the difference in the installation process? For this example, lets use stock based tw 5.0 BOC4 (from original development) and CM12 (from unified).
Furthermore, can someone explain how I would go from stock based tw 5.0 BOC4 to CM12 and back again?
Thanks!

Samsung S5 G900F ROMS Questions

Hi everyone I need your opinion and suggestions regarding ROMS on this device.
I have Samsung S5 (SM-G900F ) and still confused on what ROMS should I get.
Therefore I need your suggestions and ideas my knox was 0x1 without doing anything.
My questions are:
• For STOCK ROM + Custom Kernel which is a good combination of stock ROM and custom kernel?
• For CUSTOM ROM + Custom Kernel which is the most stable and smooth one?
Currently using Sixperience V7 + Hispasian v7 but it is kinda laggy and buggy as of now.
I am a big fan of doubletap2wake so I want those custom kernel and compatible ROMs that support it.
Thank you for those who will notice and answer my questions.

Custom Kernel for Stock ROM

Hello, is there a Custom Kernel for our S4 Stock ROM/rooted? Im targeting Kernel best for Gaming/Performance
I don't have an s4 at the moment but kernels can be found under the kernel tab of the development forum.
Here's a link for the gt-i9505 as an example: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop#kernels

[Q] TouchWiz ROM on latest Android Version? [I9505]

Hello Internet,
Up 'til now I've been using Albe95's amazing Lollirom V9.0 on my I9505 which uses Android 5.0.1. I've recently been looking to update my ROM but can only find later [N/O] Android versions from AOSP or AOKP or CM, but nothing with Touchwiz.
I was wondering if there is one and I've just missed it, or if it's impossible, or if I can do it myself?
Thanks in advance!
TL;DR Is there a TW Nougat/Oreo ROM?
There is no custom TW-based ROM after LP as Samsung never released one for any s4. I believe a TW ROM based on MM, N, and O ROMs would require a corresponding Samsung kernel for the S4 that doesn't exist.
