If you see those options on your screen then you are in recovery mode, NOT download mode mate. It sounds like you are pressing Vol UP + Home + Power instead of the correct way that @Er. Adityaexplained already. Please try it once more and make sure you are pressing Vol DOWN + Home +Power

Unfortunately it sounds like you might have a clone note 4, not the real thing. I've owned a few Samsung from different parts of the world but as far as I remember download mode was always in English on all of them. I could be wrong, but that's just my 2 cents...

That is my feeling too but IMEI checked out which probably doesn't mean anything and on inside under the battery it says N910F . Maybe Samsung could tell me if it is a clone , is there any other way to check besides IMEI ? That is what i get in download mode

There's an app on Play Store called Phone INFO *samsung* that might be helpful. By the looks of the pic I think it's a clone, I thought maybe your phone had the correct looking download mode and it was just written in Chinese (like maybe you had a chinese bootloader/download mode) but that screen shot looks nothing like download mode on any Samsung device I've ever seen except on clone devices. Sorry I do not have more useful or positive info. Good luck!

RESTORE YOUR TABLET TO STOCK, APPLY ROOT, THEN FLASH A NEW RECOVERY.
This tutorial applies to both P3110 and P3113. They are the exact same models.
REQUIRED:
Odin ( Take any version you wish. The latest ones should do the trick )
The stock Firmware file. Concerning this part, Google is your friend.
The official Samsung USB Cable that came with your tablet. It is recommended (but optional) to connect your tablet into your computer's built-in USB ports.
The latest Odin-flashable recovery. ( P3113 uses P3110 files )
CF-Auto-Root

2. Wipe all data. [ Factory Reset ( /data /cache ), System ( /system ) and Internal Data ( /media/storage )
3. Reboot into Download Mode. Usually found on the Advanced Options of most CWM-based recoveries.
It happens that your Tablet cannot boot into Download Mode due to various reasons. There is a battery trick that can be achieved. Do it when you absolutely cannot boot into Download Mode.
1. Remove your tablet's battery.
2. Connect your tablet to your computer
3. Your device should automatically boot into Download Mode.
4. Put back your Battery back into your device.

Hi, I have PA installed with TWRP installed. I downloaded my firmware from http://samsung-updates.com/. Do I need to flash the stock kernel as well? and stock recovery? Sorry for the noob question.
Maybe I'm just missing it, but I've gone to a couple of firmware sites and I can't find US firmware. Is there anywhere I can get that?
Does anyone have a link that's not to one of these stupid-ass, lame, @#$%ing pay download sites?

I have a similar situation. A previous rooting operation on my Tab2 7 P3113TS was either bad or partial and it appears it will not go into the download mode. power-pgup, power-pgdn, or just power all go to the Samsung splash screen then to a blue VeinDroid rom screen but no further. I tried 3 different version of ODIN and all recognize the device (port goes yellow) but cannot communicate. It stops at the SetupConnection step. Is this thing toast or is there something I'm missing?

If a message is shown, press Volume Up. If you can't enter downloadmode normally, try doing "adb reboot download" in ADB. If you still can't, connect your phone to your computer, REMOVE THE BATTERY, hold Volume Up/Down + Power until DownloadMode is entered and put the battery in again. If your phone doesn't boot or/and battery trick doesn't work, use an USB Jig. If theres no usb jig, while until the battery icon is shown ( charging ) then do "adb reboot download" in ADB.

Sorry to break this news to you, but you got a fake S4. Try and get your money back.
Try Mydroid system info app or Cpu-Z.
See your phone specs and if everything is at it should be than maybe you're not scammed and you might do something with this phone, if the specs are lower than you don't have an original phone.

Did you try this?
Switch off your mobile phone.
Pull the battery of your device out.
Hold Volume up, and Volume down keys together.
Plug in USB cable to your device, holding both the volume buttons.
Put the battery back in, still holding the volume up and down keys.
Your phone shall now enter Download Mode.
If this doesn't work either, try usb jig if you have one, if not, they're cheap on the Internet.

hi ,
First ,im not sure what you mean with "start ". your phone,is it commpletely "dead " ?
if so have you plugged it into wallsocket/charged ? and then tried again ?
Can you boot up your phone /do you see Samsung logo ?
What happens when you do ...power /volume down/home button ...?
If you can boot and see Samsung logo, what i can suggest( at this stage )
is to search for video on XDA /or Youtube .
how to enter download mode ..
eg

This should give you idea about download mode .

hi ,
well if you can see Samsung logo ,that good !!
your phone seems to be soft bricked..( not really very big problem ,don't worry ..!!!! )
Only way to fix , is to flash your current stock ROM .
if you prefer Kies well ,i stated in above post that i don't think much of Kies .
One point i would like to point out.
Download mode ...
first pull battery ..then insert battery
if you hold buttons ..home +power + volume ......you get to a triangle warning........then press volume up again ..download mode (you will see same as screenshot( its an old foto of my Note 2 , but similar ) ....download mode ..Green Android man ..note if you want to get out of this ..pull battery )
good luck
post note
i have had same problem as you in past once or twice...!
fixed it with reflashing correct stock rom .
So just try to think positively ,it really very small issue .
THanks DUDE!!!
Hello guys,
My s7 edge, Out of a sudden it turned off and I can't turn it back on. I tried to flash with odin, but I think I had chosen a wrong frimeware because I couldn't check which one was meant for my phone. That process failed.
I left the phone alone for a while and after a few days I tried it again but I couldn't access the download mode at all. It keeps showing me this error.
I was trying by pressing and holding power + home button + down volume button. Also I was attempting with pressing/ holding the home button because I saw that it worked for some people, but it didn't work for me.
Can someone help with this problem ?
?? Anyone ??

What you mean u maybe flashed wrong firmware? Dude how can you not know what are u flashing via Odin??
I'm sorry don't wanna be so hars
If u can't boot to download mode then I'm afraid u cant do much , if u somehow can boot to download mode then u must select in Odin nand erase , repatition (pit file required) and see..
Cheapest option for u is changing motherboar if all options are out

I cut the story very short.
My friend had tried to flash his phone. In doing that, he could access the download mode, but after that Odin showed an error 'error, flashing failed'.
Since then, he couldn't access download mode. And now i am trying somehow to fix this problem..
I don't have enough posts to post a screenshot.

Well it would be best if u could open phone and disconnect battery and connect again after few hours , try changing cable use official one ect. Keep trying
Best of luck
I'll try that. Thanks!
If I manage to access download mode, is there a way to find out which the original firmware for this phone is?
Or should I try out different ones until something works [emoji23]
