[Q] Recovery for Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition (GT-I9515)

Hi,
is there a recovery image for the Galaxy S4 Value Edition - GT-I9515? ClockworkMod, Philz or any other that is working?
Or if somebody knows if I can install the recovery image for the Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 on my Value Edition GT-I9515?
Please, let me know if there is such a recovery.

Alright, I've used CWM recovery and it is working I have flashed the recovery via app called 'Flashify'.

Hello KidMarley,
if I do remember correctly, I downloaded the recovery from the webpage and then just flashed it directly from storage. I did not let the app download it for me. If that is what you are asking. And as nowadays there lots of new apps, can I suggest you use Rashr? I suppose that Rashr is the best for flashing...

Tried the SM-G7102 stuff?
If you have any problems, use Odin to flash stock firmware.

Is your phone the Korean version of the Galaxy Grand 2?
My mom owns the KT Telecom version (SM-G710K) and I'm still finding the way to root and install recovery.

Whos developing? I tried to make cwm for spreadtrum sc8830's one, but I stucked on the unpaking stock recovery cause it does want to unpack nor as usual not as MTK, if some one trying to, maybe will be help with this problem?

I found a way to have TWRP v2.8.7.1 on SM-G360F.
the recovery work fine on lollipop polish rom and add hability to root the rom.
- Install via ODIN -> dl.twrp.me/coreprimelte/twrp-2.8.7.1-coreprimelte.img.tar.html
- Install via Flashify (root required) -> dl.twrp.me/coreprimelte/twrp-2.8.7.1-coreprimelte.img.html
Found on: French Forum phonandroid by scumpi and same for search for the lollipop rom

Galaxy A8 is an excellent device. However there are no development on this.
Is there anyone can build a TWRP custom recovery.?
Root is already available changing the Kernel.

I am waiting for it also. Hope if someone can make it ASAP.

SM-A800F (Exynos) was successfully rooted by replacing its Stock Kernel with the Rooted one (SpaceX Kernel)

I got the red message on the top left when booting Kernel Is Not Seandroid.
Is that what supposed to happen? Sorry this is the first time I use Samsung and rooted it.

CF Auto Root is now official for our device, now no need to flash any custom kernel anymore

Cm 12/12.1 on Samsung Galaxy tab e 9.6 sm-t560nu

Does anyone know how to flash custom recovery and flash cm12 on tab e? I don't know how to do so and am new to Samsung. I rooted and installed a custom rom on my HTC one mini so I have some experience. Anyone know how? Thanks in advance.

Root is still not available as of yet. Unlocking the bootloader might be impossible, but eventually someone might take the time to "safestrap" this tablet.
I'm just hoping for root at this point, safestrap is just a glorified theme that will slow everything down.

I just bought one of these over the holidays and have also been looking for a way to root. I spent an entire day fiddling around, and was able to get root using kingroot...as long as I didn't reboot. Once I did, it soft bricked it and I had to oden back to the latest (5.1.1) firmware. I ended up rooting with kingroot, stripping out all the bloatware, de-rooted with kingroot and going with that for now. No Xposed, sd boost or adblock (I did find a few ham-fisted workarounds), and now when I boot I get told that it is running a non standard kernal, but it does start. In another thread, someone claimed that they got it working using kingroot and it stuck thru reboots, but I haven't gotten it to work just yet.

Guys this tutorial helped me root & install TWRP recovery i can confirm its 100% working https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCJ60mgdk0g

Rooting this one is really easy. You have to go into Build Info... tap it like 7 times get your developer options on. Then you have to check two boxes. 1 is OEM unlock and that's very important make sure that it is on an unlocked and then to cut on USB debugging. Then you need to go to CF auto root 3.10.1 and flash TWRP... have a zip file of Superuser on your SD card or internal storage then when you cut TWRP on flash superuser.zip and it will automatically root your device.

Download the apk of universal unroot and install it. Finally , open universal unroot and click on " Unroot ".
By the way, what is " search tab " ???
