hello guys,i need your help
me nd my friend ,both of us are facing problem in yureka,the problem is that ,when we install high end games like asphalt 8 out of play store nd then put additional data in internal storage-android-obb then game runs fine for some time after some time obb data gets deleted automatically nd game demands for the additionaldata?
why is so happening,moreover i tried downloading games from playstore but this doesn't creates the problem.it only happens while installing nd putting additional data in obb
not only this when we search in obb folder there is no game folder.nd its still consuming space,any way to fix it except factory reset as i alrdy did it 2-3 times but again the same thing happens

Root your device and install SU. Also, use Chelpu's Play Store. Hopefully this would solve your problem.

That's how those apps work. You can't do anything until developer of those apps make the changes.
I'm too facing a same issue. My sd card storage is almost full so anyway i have to install it in internal storage only. Please suggest some way that why my obb files get removed from internal storage

The BEST SOLUTION will be "PLAY THE GAMES OFFLINE", turn off your DATA / WIFI while playing.

i have the DHD rooted and S-off ..
i understand how apk can be installed from Market and through 3rd party application and so on .. but certain games won't work .. due to missing data files..
so i am wondering how the installation directories work?
for app and game's main program .. it's installed to:
/data/app/"...app names..."/ ---> main program file
/data/data/"...app names..."/ ----> data files
is this correct?
for the games, where does the data files reside?

or under /sdcard/android/data/" xx " ? if we want to save the internal memory?
for example, a game which is like 1xxMB large .. but i couldn't find out where the large data file was installed to .. after performing the move2SD .. it seems to me only the main app program "like 2, or 3 mb" is moved to sdcard only ...
You don't ever need to move apps to the SD card on the DHD. I don't understand why you would be asking this, unless it was for piracy.
If you want to backup data/games/apps use Titanium backup, if you want to force apps to the SD card (which is totally unnecessary on the DHD) you will have to root install clockwork recovery and install an APP2SD ROM, i.e. CM 6.1 and force apps to the SD card.

i have used the titanium ..and it has a feature to move app to SD .. is that the same function you mentioned about? or i need to flash another rom for it.. hmm ..
and when i uninstall the files .. i want to make sure they are clean .. not leaving some files here and there ^^
i have tested couple games now .. and able to see they indeed download the big data files to SD .. ^^ .. but i see their files everywhere .. like under data/data // system/app , mnt/sdcard/ and etc ..

I have searched thousand time on google but no luck yet. The only thing i know now is xda. I am pretty sure you'll help me.
Problem :
My phone(motorola defy) and sdcard was working flawless. Asphalt 6, pes12, pvz games were installed. My phone is rooted and i also have dual mount sd widget. Now the problem is that one day i was using my phone perfectly. In the afternoon i open my phone and started asphalt 6. It asked me to download cache data. I was shocked because my career was completed 92% and i was playing it since month. I closed it and started it again but same problem. I deleted it began to install new widgets. And now that's the major prob, no application is getting installed. When i try to install any app it gave me error "Application not installed". I formatted my sdcard but no luck again. I formatted sdcard using different phone and then it was solved. I am using my phone for 3 days now. Holding my breath. Please tell me how this problem occurs so i could be careful or please tell me solution to this problem without formatting sdcard.
My brother told me not to use phone when it is dual mount mode. But i don't found that helpful. Please please please xda. Thanks for reading

I am using a custom rom of dubai v2.2.2 and using the official sdcard(came with the phone). Don't know what is multiboot

I have a problem with internal memory in my phone
I moved all my stuff to SD card , photos files etc
also i moved all the Movable apps to the sd
But some apps can't be moves i don't know why "see attaches pic"
I tried Clean master , ES files and some apps but didn't help
Please help me

You don't have a problem with the internal memory. You're simply encountering a normal occurrence, as not every app supports moving its data to the MicroSD card. Since your list of apps doesn't support being moved to the MicroSD the only way to clear storage is to uninstall the apps. You may of course try apps to SD card options, but I'm not sure how well they will work on Android 5.x.

To move the app data from internal storage would be to break the app itself. You don't want that.

at the first place i want to restore my space back
yeah , my phone is rooted and am using omega v28 5.0.1 rom
with custom recovery , TWRP 2.8.7.0 touch recovery
I just wanted to make sure you weren't using Clockworkmod or Philz, as those are notorious for eating internal storage. If you want to restore the lost space, you have to uninstall the apps. It's either that or you learn to live with it until Android 6.0 custom ROMs are made available for your device. Android 6.0 allows you to merge internal and external storage so that Android sees the two as a single volume, and that definitely would eliminate your problem.

hey guys
iam using my galaxy s4 for about 3 years now but i encounter a new problem for about a year ago... after rooting my device i started to use titanum backup and foldermount apps to improve my backup and my empty storage to bownload more apps... but after unlinking some apps from foldermount and deleting apps i started to notice that my ext sdcard is losing oculied space by the moved app but my internal storage is still the same... i unlinked all the apps and deleted them and i still lost aproxi about 5 to 6 gb of my internal storage.... i made a factory reset and deleted all the cashe and things starts to go normal... but after a while i started to download games and this time wihout foldermount app i still got the same problem... i used ex file explorer to determine how much space i got but i got 2.3 gb used on android folder...but the app and the system showed that iam using 6.2 gb..... i store nothing in my internal storage ... i linked titanum backup to ise my ext sdcard and offline youtube videos also ... please help because i realy dont inderstand whats going on.....

A factory reset will definitely resolve the problem, if nothing else works.

After i formated it back to mobile i tried to update my phone to lineage os 17.1 it doesnt recognice my internal storage. apps install but Photo app doesnt work and if anything wants to acces files the app just crashes.

the rom u r using is unstable , unstable roms have issues and bugs .
use a stable rom like i do , btw i use resurrection remix pie ,sdcard does work
dont forget to leave a like

That what I said , the ROM is unstable , causing it to have bugs ,like the bug of internal storage not appearing , please flash a stable ROM .
