Hey all!
I'm probably asking a completely noob question, but ... has anyone had success getting a Verizon Galaxy S5 to work on the Sprint network with full functionality? If so, could you either link me to the thread or help me out a bit? I have been looking for quite some time and can only find varying results when moving the S5 to T-Mobile network. I'm still wondering if changing the APN settings will fix data connectivity issues or not due to Verizon and Sprint running on different bands.
Thanks in advance! :good:

So I recently got a Galaxy S4 from a friend and unlocked it to use on T-Mobile. I got it unlocked with guides on here but I haven't found a way to get faster data speeds. I've been searching on here for a way to maybe get HSPA+ and seen some people have got some faster speeds. Hopefully someone can provide some help because I'm completely lost when it comes to the different bands and what they are.

Hi all.
I originally purchased my Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 in the UK where I was using it on LTE with absolutely no problems.
One thing led to another and I'm now living in Canada, and using my i9505 on the Bell/Virgin network. The phone connects to the 3G network just fine, but does not connect to Bells LTE network here.
Having done some research, I'm led to believe that this is due to the fact that the i9505 does not support the 1700MHz network for LTE, although the similar i337 model does.
I've read a number of topics that state it may/may not be possible to unlock this banding on the i9505, but have not been able to find any conclusive answer on whether it's possible, and if so, how to actually do this.
Any help or suggestions anyone might have would be incredibly appreciated, as I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering this.
Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone. I need to flash my Samsung Galaxy S4 from Sprint to MetroPCS. What is the most recent way to do this? Thank you in advance.

Flashing is no longer supported by MetroPCS and not really practical anymore. Since Metro has stopped using Houdini no new ESNs can be added to their CDMA database, so the only way to get a working flash is to illegally change your phone's ESN.
Now, even if you did successfully flash your S4 over there a re a few reasons why it's a bad idea. For one Metro is going to be turning off their CDMA network completely soon, since Metro merged with T-Mobile thy use GSM now. Two, a flash would only get you 3g. And lastly Metro dealers will most likely not even activate the phone for you if you bring it into the store, because they are not allowed and will get in trouble if word got out that they were activating flashed phones.
If you want to use your Sprint S4 on Metro just follow this guide here to complete a SIM unlock, which will allow you to use your S4 with GSM networks.
Hello, I'm a bit new to all this, so please bear with me if I sound a bit out of the know. I currently have a SM-G935V, from Verizon of course, but I recently switched to AT&T as they have better service for me, however, the best connection I seem to get at the moment is H+ (it switches from 3G to H and H+ but I know for a fact that there is 4G LTE in my area). Not sure exactly what to do in order to get consistent 4G LTE. I have called to troubleshoot with technical support; we set up a few APN's, but to no avail. Would flashing the SM-G935U firmware help me at all, or am I doomed from the start since I have the Verizon variant (they claim that all of their LTE phones are unlocked)? Also, I heard that for the US version of the phone they will not let you flash anything on them. Is that true? Thanks for any help or advice in advance, I greatly appreciate it!

I'm not 100% sure AT&T is included but you can try following the instructions and flashing Jrkruse's U Firmware ROM here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-s7-edge/development/rom-t3603231

Thanks! Just an update for anyone who reads this thread having the same problem. Flashing the U firmware did in fact do the trick, but sadly I am not getting HD calling. Data works on LTE just fine though.
I've looked through all of the threads trying to find AT&T settings for the universal model but only come up with a few T-Mobile threads. Having a tough time forcing LTE on AT&T. (prepaid vs. Postpaid if that helps) AT&T store reps were Clueless and I've tried every APN setting known to man it seems. Anyone have their service working well using this model on AT&T and do you recall what you had to do to get it working normally? Thanks in advance.
