Hi,
Why do android wear need minimum 4.3 version?
I believe it has just few limitations but why it supported on above 4.3?
My suggestion is why an app cant be built which supports ICS , gingerbread phones which can interact with android wear.
I know few things are not possible but basic things are possible like file sharing from phone to wear, notifications etc.. ?
You should be able to use the Support library to allow compatibility with versions below 4.3?

Is there any way to port the sendrawPdU library to the current ROMs via either flashable zip or raw code editing? I know that the API was depreciated by Google after Android 1.6 but it also still can be found in even the newest HTC devices running stock ROMs, I've done a few searches on the internet but I cant find anything related to getting it to work with Jelly Bean 4.1.X or 4.2.X . Can anyone offer any help?
Hi
would it be possible to use android wear for sony acro s android version 4.1.2?
thanks
I dont have that phone, but first i think you schould install CM11 or higher version of android. So after you can try. But your phone have Bluetooth 3.0 and Android wear have 4.0 or higher. First search on google if Bluetooth 3.0 is ok for Android wear.

Alright.
Do you know of any step by step guides? I have never installed a custom ROM or anything like that in the past. I'm a newbie when it comes to doing stuff like that on a phone.
help is highly appreciated.
It won't work with a phone that doesn't have Bluetooth 4.0+LE, sorry...
Today YotaDevices announced that they have rewritten the SDK to make it simplier to developers create apps for the EPD screen. Now everything is based on Marshmellow 6.0.1 which permits running two separate apps on the two screens of YotaPhone 2.
Here you can find more information:

Cool stuff. I'm surprised they bothered to finish the SDK for Yotaphone 2. If the features work as listed this should make using the EPD quite easy, at least for applications. Widgets still seem a bit clumsy, but that's par for Android.
I have the zipped file addon-yp-two-l.zip . But if I understand, now, this file is not necessary ?
Also, how we can use yotasdk in VisualStudio 2017 ? (And is it possible)
Curently official SDK, is the version 3.7.11 of YotaDevices library : http://fw.ydevices.com/maven/com/yotadevices/libs/public/sdk/
But if we navigate into Yota Libraries folders, we could be find the version 3.8.14 which are not public version, but internal version : http://fw.ydevices.com/maven/com/yotadevices/libs/internal/sdk/
Maybe ... Nougat version ? or maybe .... YotaPhone3 ? .... Any idea ?

Hi guys,
in the last few days I had a look at various type of "chinese smartwatches" mounting Android Lollipop 5.1. I'd like to buy one of them for curiosity and for trying to build some apps.
I have a question about the software: as they mount Android Lollipop and not Android wear, is there the possibility that they will be updated, I think to Android 6.0 or something like that? Or better, is there any Android wear custom ROM to flash on them? Thank you for your replies guys
Update info
The update to Android marshmallow would be possible but I do not think any manufacturer decides to do an update, the smartwatch come out with Android lollipop to recycle code and have greater compatibility with older apps.
In future it may be possible to have a custom rom with android wear but will be a long and not compatible with all Chinese devices, when I have not seen a single port on a smartwatch that runs Android 5.1
hello
i use Android SDK to monitor theme
But now with my new Note9 I can not get my phone recognized in the app.
I Don't know why
Thanks for help
