[Q] Anyone have CM11 Rom zip? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

This week i wanted to look how development of CyanogenMod for Nexus 4 is nowadays, many weeks after using Paranoid ROM... But when i went to the donwload page i saw that ALL links for Nexus 4 CM11 are offline :crying: and the only ones still working is the CM12 that i do not want (still many bugs) : http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=mako&type=nightly
So i was wondering if anyone that keeps the zip ROM stored offline could upload it and send a link for me... I I would prefer the last ones released ( January 2015 ), but i don't mind if someone has just December ones ZIPs before December there's no need cause the last snapshot build from CM11 to Nexus 4, M12, was released at 15 Nov and is still online ... I didn't want download that cause i would prefer a newer one, so that's why i'm asking here... So any help will be very appreciated... Thanks in advance for anyone that could help me :good:

The CM11 ZIPs don't work any more, that's what the OP is saying

I want to know how to build the latest AOSP realease.

Can somebody help me? I want to build the latest aosp (4.3)from source and flash it to my N4. There's a few builds out. But they have mods and other extras added. I want a full stock aosp ROM. No mods. No extras. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

Google is your friend here:

This is also a very good guide:

(the second link is based on the Galaxy Nexus but you can change it for Nexus 4 easily enough)

4.4 SMS changes? HELP

Been using this custom mms.apk for a while now. I and some others have been trying to get it to work on 4.4. I don't really know what I am doing as this is the first apk I have ever decompiled. Really would like someone who knows what they are doing to help get it working. Original thread is here.

Have you had any luck? I've come to the conclusion that dealing with the 4.2 source is a waste of time and that we should Terry with a 4.3 instead(at least according to other themers and modders )

Nexus 7 flo released

Great news! I'm in the ubuntu mailing list and the first image for the Nexus 7 2013 has been released. It is an alpha with 4.4.2 base. Shouldn't be long before official images are out

That is awesome. I use multiROM and it has an option to install Ubuntu touch. I guess I will wait to see if they update to provide an install for my device.

Where did you find the image? I can't find it.
That's great! I've been itching to try UT out ever since I got my new 2013 for Xmas.
Anybody have any feedback on how it's running, and how well it works with multiRom?
Cheers
Any update on release date for us mortals.
I bought a Nexus 7 2013 a couple weeks past just for Ubuntu Touch.
Does anyone have access to that image?
Which mailing list has the links?

This process worked perfectly for me (follow the "Install from android" section, but definitely read the whole page first):
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Install_UT_on_android4.4.2
I was given that URL on IRC during the hangout Mark Shuttleworth and others had this week.

[ROM][flo]>>>Sonic Open Kang Project[Testing]

Hi guys.....
We have compiled SOKP ROM for nexus7 flo....
I just want to make sure it boots before making a development thread
Since I don't own flo device am making a thread here for testing....
Visit here for detailed feature of sokp ROM
http://sonic-developers.com/?page_id=160
Visit here for download link
http://sonic-developers.com/testing/
So do make a backup before proceeding to test the ROM
Steps to flash ROM
Wipe data /system/cache/dalvik
Flash ROM(don't flash gapps)
Wipe cache /dalvik
Wait till it boots ....(at least 15mins this is because boot animation may or may not work since its 1st build...)
Post test results here...
If it not boots come with a logcat...
Hope all will cooperate and help me to bring this beautiful ROM to your devices...
Regards.

Nice Rom Test Build
To be Honest AudioGod, I think for the first SOKP Build I used, It seems to be very stable compared to other roms in the nightly stages, and it has a lot more features. The only issues i had which are not major is that sometimes it may say Google Play Store stopped Working and the same with Clock, but in the end it is my favorite rom for flo. Keep up the Good Work
Ok I will put this today......
Please dime come forward to test deb build......
Deb build is uploaded can any one test for me
Flo rom is working great for me. Used it all of today with no issues
This definitely should go into the Android development section so more people can test this, it works for me quite well and is one of my favorites in multirom. Maybe we can make it official and drop it in the original android section. Go for it dude

Hello Audiogod. Will there by any chance be a SOKP -KK-4.4.3-RC-04 build for the Nexus 7 2013 (flo) or by any chance a test build for 4.4.4?

If you get the AOSP device tree, you might be able to set it up to build. I have no idea if kitkat can be built for the Nexus S, however.
Thanks

I think the same stuff that got KitKat working on the aries family got it working for crespo... But I don't think any of the core team could assist you here as none of us have that device.
Thanks
