No I'm not jealous. There are already now at least 3 threads on this release and no doubt more to come.
There is an "official" jb thread for all news. The op should have posted in there. This forum is already hard enough to find new interesting and informative articles without it being cluttered by muppets who can't be bothered to post in the right place.

i think "rooted" word is the reason that u wont receive kitkat update .. u've to unroot it first

It won´t work because both are different inside. I think samsung should have released kitkat for both phones if the OS were compatible.
(Te lo traduzco porque creo que sos argentino jaja. No creo que funcione porque son distintos internamente. Creo que samsung hubiera lanzado kitkat para ambos telefonos si fuesen compatible)

AFAIK G710 is single sim and G7102 is dual sim so ROMs are going to be different.

NO hay ninguna novedad que alguien aya podido adaptar alguna de las roms al g710 de argentina es una lastima, no se encuentra casi nada por no decir nada y no son tantas las diferencias . si alguien tiene alguna novedad les pido la comparta

If you upgrade to kitkat. Your game will slow. But the battery is improve
So if you prefer gaming. Use jelly bean 4.3
If you prefer battery life. Use kitkat 4.4.2
Note : if you root your device in jelly bean. You cannot receive ota update from software update. You must unroot your phone first in supersu or flash the stock 4.4.2 firmware. Download the firmware depend on your region. You can download it on sammobile

i have bricked another phone ; some days ago i installed this rom on on cyanogen 13 sdmerge ( i made 3 wipes , battery wipe too ) i had no more 1.14gb system but only 250mb i couldnt do anything because all the time ihad messages from android beeing sorry i dont remember the exact message but i could not have memory back . i have changed the mother board but i am afraid of flashing again ....

Great work! But missing sim toolkit depressing.
I was impressed by the lightness of the OS. the touch feels more responsive. I live in Kenya, the home of mobile money and the missing stk is not an option. I have tried several stk apps but install wont complete. Am keeping the Rom for all the other reasons and on the hope that you can get me something that installs. counting on you.

Since you are from Brazil, and seem to be having dificulties speaking english, I shall reply in both languages:
Portuguese:
O ficheiro que mandaste nao esta' correcto. Tens de o por em algum lado online e por o endereco aqui.
Quanto ao teu novo ROM nao detectar nenhum dos teus slots, se calhar e' porque nao puseste o ROM certo ou usaste o MODEM errado.
Tens a certeza que o ROM que puseste no teu telemovel e' correcto? Porque eu tenho um XT1563 e este e' o modelo de um so' SIM.

As per your rom not finding any of your slots, maybe its because you didn't USE the right rom, or modem for that matter.

If you use the link that madcat gave just above this and look for the ones that start with XT1563.
Now look for following - LUX_RETLA_DS ****as far as I can determine the "RETLA" means retail Latin America & the DS is DUAL SIM.
I'm not 100% sure but just trying to help you out. Good Luck.

Hi, great work! You should contact the Android 6.0 beta team from Yotadevices ([email protected]) so they could implement this on the stable release of Android 6.0 as an option! This would save more battery because how OLED works...
If they don't accept it, I think you should wait for the final Android 6.0 or share what you are changing so someone can do it for Android 6.0...

But send the beta team an email to share your work. It would be great if this could be done on an official ROM because with root, Android Pay will fail the security check...

This is why I told you to contact the official beta team from Yotaphone for Android 6.0, because if they implement it on the official firmware, root is not necessary anymore...

Every AMOLED phone should have an option for all-black theme for obvious battery saving benefits. I hope Yota could implement this but I don't mind rooting so I hope the OP releases his modified apk's.

This weekend, I'll find time to get back on this topic.
Had stopped because of the update from yota to 6.0.1, but did not get good results in this version, my epd was not good and I ended up returning to 5.0.1

I'm going to start over, even more now that I've been able to greatly improve epd's image in black mode,
I even encouraged
