Hey guys, I recently got a LG G2 steal - all the original bezel stickers, lcd stickers still intact. The catch - it doesn't work and the seller is selling it for cheap thus why.
Bought it as a project phone and am wondering if I'm able to salvage the phone .
It is not able to enter:
1) fastboot
2) no recovery
3) download
Tried the method but to no avil.

Plugging it into USB, it shows the following:

Opening up, this is the picture of the motherboard.
Led cover seems to have melted.
Would there be a way to salvage this?
or is there anyway any D802 logicboards out for sale that you can point me to.
Thanks alot chaps!

I know they are caused by the clips on the micro usb cables ..
are they
1) Caused a design flaw by LG (causing such a scratch)
2) LG molded designed and molded the plastic in such a way
Attached is also another pic of my phone

So, I'm trying to buy a screen replacement for my LG G2. I bought an LG G2 ls980 from China("new", presumably refurbished) and the screen is collecting scratches very quickly. I can buy a replacement for D802 for ~15$, but I've read somewhere that screen in those phones are different. Does anybody know anything about that?
The screen I can buy looks like this:

}
Also, are the back covers any different? I don't mean aesthetics, but LS980 and D802 have different gsm/wcdma/lte bands, and the antena is on the back cover-would it make a difference?
I have been using this device for more than 5 yrs. Recently screen rotation was not working so I tried to repair it by myself after watching some videos and forums. It was an easy process but due to my curiosity I dug into the hardware some more. During the process I mistakenly broke a piece from ZIF connector which was connected to the display. I don't know whether this could do anything to the touch. Now the touch becomes unresponsive. I am also thinking that the digitiser could be faulty but not ready to invest in a new one without knowing the real reason. Why this connector is for. Could this be the culprit? If so do I need to change the daughterboard? You can see the picture

NOW
I assembled the spare main PCB, USB PCB, accumulator and the almost new original display together.
Odin3 (V3.13) runs with "twrp-3.7.0_9-0-a40.img.tar" and connects with mobile.
BUT odin failed.
I hope, someone wants and will help me!
How to unlock bootloader? Or do I have another problem?!

The story before now:
Three months ago I bought a crashed A40 as spare.
And a new screen for my other A40, that I crashed also at hiking.
The display works well, but the main PCB got a hairline crack at hiking too. This prob I fixed and used the phone until NOW the akku gave up. (see above)
