Hey has anyone tried this or is it possible? if its easy I think It would be cool to unlock and lock device with the heart rate monitor
on the Note 4 the camera app uses the heart rate monitor to take selfies..so maybe we could borrow from that?
I need it too
Can you create something for Galaxy s5?
What fitness capabilities does android wear have for devices without a heart rate monitor, like the original g watch
Hi guys,
I wanted to ask you if you could help me find a comprehensive list of watches/bands that support continuous heart rate monitoring non-stop. I know for example that moto 360 and the fitbit purepulse offer that. However I haven't been able to find a comprehensive list.
Thanks

I actually use the Sports Headphones, Jabra Pulse, with "inner ear" heart rate monitor - supposed to be even more accurate than any chest bands or watches, for me it's a perfect solution as I always run with music, so 2 birds with one stone! BTW I also use the Sony Smartwatch 3, as it has onboard GPS and music storage - so I can leave my phone at home, and still track my run, monitor my heart rate and listen to music.

I have a Sony SmartWatch SWR50.
No heart rate sensor on board (But GPS and WiFi)
I m looking for a simple app to watch heart rate.
An alert if the heart rate is too slow or too fast is usefull and necessary
Like this Heart Rate - Sport Gear + Wear
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pnn.android.sport_gear_tracker
But the app works not standalone.
And others app work only with internal sensors.
(Ghostracer works standalone - only heart rate: the hardware used is in order)

SGT works standalone. I always use it for spinning. The only thing you need, is a bluetooth chest strap.
My tablet is connected to the BT chest strap.
The heart rate is displayed. Both on the smartphone as well as on the watch.
If I move away from the smartphone, a white square will appear on my watch.
No heart rate is displayed.
How can I connect directly between chest strap and watch?
Surely I have to separate the BT chest strap from the device.
And then?
Just pairing and start the app?
BTW
If I start Ghostracer the heart beat is at once on the screen!

Restart SWR50
Reset all apps on the smartwatch (SWR50)
Start SGT and a white arrow appears
Works fine and standalone :good:

Hello,
I am considering buying moto g4 plus, but some reviews mentioned the phone doesn't sport that many sensors (including magnetometer). Could someone post a screenshot of sensors list using cpu-z app on the phone?
TIA
This what you're looking for?
Yeah! this is what i needed. Thanks!
so there really isnt any compass on this device though there are many other sensors
Buy this phone if u want a 1990 pc with great features! Instructions are simple, keep it under AC...

Motorola Moto G4 Plus Sensors
The previous takes out the requirement for a warning LED as it demonstrates to you the time and a sneak peak of your notices opening the telephone, the minute you move it. There is an LED to one side of the unique finger impression sensor, however we just saw it when it quickly lit up while charging the telephone. Moto Actions gives you a chance to trigger different movement based motions, which all work as promoted. There aren't any preloaded applications other than a record supervisor and the standard suite of Google applications.
Is there any way to get readings from the heart rate sensor on the back of the phone without the samsung Health app. Does any other apps utilize this feature. As I use google fit so do not have samsung health installed and do not really want 2 apps that do the same thing. So are there any heart rate apps that utilize the sensor on the back of the phone?
