Hi I'm in the same boat trying too root mine says it's an "allwinner" under model name.
I've also tried farmaroot as well with no luck. Well intrested in this thread will keep an eye out to see if there is any progress.
p.s have you tried using a wireless keyboard if so which one?

I have not found out any more about rooting this box
I do use a wireless keyboard and mouse and its just a cheap £10 set i bought seems to work well.
Thanks for the reply

Have you got a link to which keyboard and mouse, is it BT or wireless?
I will be trying to root it this evening using a generic root method crossed fingers i don't brick it.
**update**
Windows does not recognise it

Just got one of these and framaroot 1.9.3 worked fine, using the 3rd option to root, Barahir exploit iirc.

I think farmaroot isn't working with KitKat, use Kingo Root instead

Already tried Kingo Root . .. Seems like it is not possible to root this phone after the KitKat upgrade... When was running Jellybean on this phone , i was able to root it using Framaroot, but not anymore ... ZTE is evil LOL, now i can't change the bootloader and rom either :crying:
How to root zte blade l2 that has been updated to kitkat
Hi guys, I recently got a ZTE Blade L2 its a nice device but it has only 4GB of internal memory and as you know a portion is used for system apps and such. This made it really annoying when installing apps to this device. It was made even more annoying by the fact that my specific carrier had upgraded the device to android kitkat 4.4.2. Write access to a user's SD was not permitted in android KitKat, this made having this device absolutely maddening for a heavy app user such as myself I couldn't even install the social network apps I liked to use.
I scoured the internet, forums, blogs in all sorts of languages and tried several methods to root this device but to no avail. Apparently when you upgrade to kitkat, rooting this device becomes a total pain in the nether regions.
Anyway just tonight I found an app that successfully rooted my device and its easy as one two three.
You simply install the app
You tap root and wait
It will ask for permission to install the kinguser app, you allow it
And then poof you're rooted
Trust me it works.
The app is called Kingroot.
NOT KINGOROOT which is totally different.
Here's. Link, just tap the first one on the page to download the apk.
The page is in Chinese but its way easy to understand.
Best of luck.
Now you're on your way to circumventing those pesky limitations that this device has.

[Q] HELP! Root for Sprint Galaxy Tab 4 T237

Hello All,
I'm digging around threads and cannot find a sure fire root method for my Sprint Galaxy Tab 4 7" (T237). If someone could point me towards a definitive good method of rooting my device I'd appreciate it. I've rooted almost all of my phones with Odin and never had an issue but can't seem to find anything. I sort of need a sure fire way to root because I did not add insurance on my device and I used to work for Sprint so getting a phone replaced wasn't an issue. I just want to cover all my bases that the data/LTE will remain working after root. Thanks in advance!!

This only safe thing I can suggest is kingroot http://www.kingroot.net/down (click first download) you can search on YouTube on how to use kingroot so yeah. If that doesn't work, then your going to have do it another way

Samsung galaxy tab E 9.6 (SM-T560NU) broken by Kingroot app

Hey all, I did something stupid and tried to root my tablet using an app called kingroot so i could see about getting some apps to store stuff on the sdcard (comics purchases) instead of using the 8Gb that my tablet had free of the internal 16Gb it is supposed to have.
I received a message when I restarted the tabet:
Custom binary blocked by FAP
Secure Fail: Kernel
and the yellow triangle with exclamation point.
I just bought this tablet and I don't think the extended warranty I spent $50 for covers this.
I would like to fix the tablet back to factory settings or atleast unroot it to make it work again.
This tablet was purchased in Canada so I would need the version for the tablets sold up here. It came with Lollipop but I am not sure what version.
Can anyone help me fix my tablet?
EDIT: I am slowly downloading the canada firmware from Sammobile, I hope it is the right one... got ODIN and the usb drivers installed on my windows 10 laptop...
Edit 2: fixed. Tablet working again.
Awesome. Currently downloading stock firmware. Holy hell speeds this slow shouldn't be allowed in 2016. Anyways, I found this thread scouring Google, and figured I'd bump it just so I can add a faster download link when I finish my download. This will be for the T560NUUEU1AOH.

OEM Lock
You forgot to turn the OEM lock off in settings. I did it the first time I rooted my Tab E. CF-Auto Root used to work, but Samsung F'd most most people's rooted devices up.

Anyone know how to lose the Nook crap? After downloading and installing this firmware, my Galaxy Tab E thinks it's a Tab E NOOK... of which I am somewhat less than thrilled... if I wanted a NOOK, I'd have bought a NOOK.
and a really important advice: NEVER buy extended warranty if u plan on rooting your device.

Onn 7" Gen 2 (100026191) dumping and development

I have recently rooted my Onn 7, and extracted the boot and recovery images.
(I accidentally deleted the boot image, but I still have one patched with Magisk, and the recovery image is still present.)
I want to get the entire system dumped, including the original system and boot partitions, which would require some help from other tablet owners (I'm broke right now).
I can walk you through the entire process of rooting the system, I just need willing participants.
(I could also use some help porting TWRP, since I have no idea how that works anymore.)
Hi, just got my hands on this device. I'd appreciate it if you can help me get my device rooted. I'm looking to remove some apps that came along with it. Thanks

You need to dump your `boot.bin`, either from an OTA update, or from a temprooted system.
Hello, I have an Onn 7, Gen 3 that I just picked up. I found the files you posted in the other forum but am not sure how to build a TWRP based off of those. Help please
Im also looking for a root method for the Onn Surf 7 gen 2. I get that i need to use usb debugging to log the url for the ota update, however my unit came with android 11 go and says up to date when i check for updates after a factory reset. can you tell me what I've done wrong? also what program are you using to run adb logcat from PC?
