Does any one have a good working link?
Thank you

Here is the firmware, not a stock rom, but should do what you want. If you do not know how to flash in fastboot let me know http://motofirmware.com/files/file/949-retuglb-xt1063-444-kxb2185-23-cid9-cfcxmlzip/

Android 4.4.4 Bootloader

Hello
I'm runing S5 Rc Elite rom on my Note 3 N9005 International version. If I want to make update to a CM11 4.4.4 rom can I go back to my 4.4.2 Rc Elite rom after? I don't know how to check if my bootloader is locked or not. Anyone?
Thank you!
You can go back and forth between TW 4.4.2 and AOSP 4.4.4. I have done it several times.

If you are with KK you have the good BL. No need to flash last one, it's useless; I'm still on NA6.....

If you have an application (APK on Android device or EXE on computer...), you cannot know if it is unlocked (full functional version) or locked (trial version), until you actually run it.
And the bootloader is also the same. You cannot know if it is locked or not, until you (or someone else) test it.
Isn't it?
As far as I know all N9005 bootloaders are unlocked.
Here is a thread on bootloader/modem update: [GUIDE]For Flashing Baseband/Modem/Bootloader N9005.

OTA Android Lollipop 5.0.2 Moto X 1ยช Gen. -SOAK TEST-

* THREAD CLOSED *
The agreement that was made with Motorola that gave privileged access to these soak tests explicitly stated that you do not share them.
Sharing them here is a breach of that agreement.
Removed per Motorola request.
I have this working on an XT1060 with unlocked bootloader.
I flashed Brazil firmware, then updated OTA, then flashed modems. why was the 1053 instructions removed?

yes, you need to be on stock brazil rom.
i RSD's brazil's 4.4.4 then did the update to 5.0.2, then manually flashed the modems. Then i flashed TWRP, so now i am sitting on a regular rooted xt1058 5.0.2 moto x. The warning people are giving is that once you do this, like previous updates, you cannot RSDlite back to a 4.4.4 build. This is not an issue for us, as we can just flash stuff within TWRP, like krypton, for example.

I'm now on cm12, flashed over stock KK rooted (twrp, unlocked BL). I have a nandroid backup of my 4.4.4 rooted made before flashing CM.
If i restore that and then go to the RSD process, will I have any problems "downgrading"?

The only "downgrade" people are talking about is bootloader version. OS version does not matter.
If you were stock KK, then you probably have the KK BL which is the most recent BL besides the 5.0.2 release. Flashing the 5.0.2 release just means you can no longer flassh the stock 4.4 SBF package because that attempts to install the older bootloader. you can still flash the rom associated with the SBF package though twrp, if that makes sense

Very risky flashing a different carriers boot loader and gpt.bin.I would just wait a little bit longer.
Again, please be aware that if you flash another carrier/model 4.4.4 and flash the brazilian OTA, DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT try to downgrade back to your original stock model/carrier 4.4.4 to take the OTA meant for your device
These instructions are fairly easy to follow and people assume it's just as easy to get back where they started but it's not, if you flash the brazilian OTA then be prepared to wait for a leaked 5.0.2 SBF for your model/carrier, there's no guarantee that it will be leaked and even if it is you have to hope that the gpt/bootloader version is the same or newer than the ones in the brazilian OTA
It does work fine but know the risks and don't expect XDA to be able to fix everything

XT1601 Stock Firmware - Will any XT1601 rom work?

Hello,
I want to try some custom roms as I just picked up this phone but want a stock rom/firmware before I do. I could not find the exact stock firmware/rom which my phone is on when looking through the File Factory folder. (http://www.filefactory.com/folder/c6cdedc45a775d27/?sort=filename&order=ASC&show=100&page=9)
Will any XT1601 rom/firmware with the same build number work?
My phone is an XT1601 on build MPI24.241-15.3, Baseband Version M8916_20250106.08.05.14R HARPIA_LATAM_CUST.
Would the following work? Will I receive OTA updates if I flash back to this at a later point?
XT1601_HARPIA_MPI24.241-15.3_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
Thanks in advance and please let me know if I need to provide any further info!

There is a download-able stock rom for xt1601. So you can always flash back to that stock after trying some custom roms.
I did mine (tried AOKP and flashed back to stock). I was able to receive OTA too.
I have no way near my pc so cannot get link to xt1601 stock and copy here. Trust that if you do a search you can find it.

As part of the flash process, you will flash the 'BootStack'. This includes modem and bootloader.
As far as I know, A2017U software is compatible with A2017, but the 'BootStack' is not. Flash the appropriate 'BootStack' for your device.
I installed A2017 on my A2017U for curiosities sake and had no problems. I don't see why you couldn't do the reverse.
Feel free to post any further questions.

It is related to A2017G but no A2017.
The most recent information I see seems to indicate that B13 is the latest, but a mention of further OTAs is made, which may or may not be B16.
B16 Information: https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/help/update-chinese-axon-7-a2017-b16-nougat-t3608262
Here are B10 BootStacks for the A2017. I would use them for now and get newer ones from OTAs or when they otherwise become available.
You have my apologies for posting the wrong link. I'm really low on sleep at the moment and I spent most of my day driving before replying. Kind of running on auto-pilot, lol.

If you're already on N, you could try flashing https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/a2017-nougat-twrp-flashable-djkuz-t3571714
Worst-case, the device doesn't boot, and you can reboot to TWRP and reinstall LOS. Note the verity ZIP, which prevents the stock ROM from reinstalling the stock recovery on the first boot.
I do have the download and it does seem to contain the bootstacks. Let me know what you want to do.

[Q][STOCK] Downgrade to sprint Stock

Hi,
I've found the following (SPERRY_SPRINT_7.1.1_NCQ26.69-48_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip) stock ROM on firmwarecenter. But it's not a usual ROM, I can't flash the zip with TWRP as usual.
Do you guys have any link to the Sprint stock ROM ? Or any tutorial to explain how to flash a ROM like this one ?
Thank you,
Djokx
Unpack the zip file first and use fastboot for flashing whole firmware by using fastboot commands. Ex: fastboot flash boot boot.img

They don't typically make stock firmware for flashing in custom recovery. Unzip, rename files from .xml to .img and install with fastboot.
