Error log - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a sm-n900v on the verizon network. It has a few apps that crash. I was wondering if there is an app that can make an error log or show errors on a non-rooted phone.

Cant update or install from play store after sideloading the OTA update for android 4.3
Happens both on my Nexus 4 & 7.
Always get the following error message:
Install:
Error retrieving information from server:
[RPC:S-5-AEC-0]
Update:
Update for "Maps" could not be downloaded due to an error. (Error retrieving information from server:
[RPC:S-5-AEC-0])
Clearing Play Store and Services Framework didnt help
Devices are both NOT unlocked and NOT rooted!
Any Idea?

I got that same error message today, although I was doing something totally different related to my battery. I had cleared services framework. I tried a number of things including what you did and the only thing that worked for me was to delete my Google account and then add it back in.
Removing and readding my Google Account fixed the problem.
But still wondering what caused this issue on both devices.
During sideloading there was an error message on both devices:
Warning: No file_contexts
Did i something wrong?

I didn't sideload the update - just let it happen naturally - and I had the same problem, so I don't think you did anything wrong. Perhaps it's a bug related to the update to 4.3. I also had to remove and re-add my Google account to fix it.

[Q] Some apps refused to install

Are any of you having an issue with some apps not installing? I initially get an "insufficient space" error (despite having 3GB free on the internal) and on subsequent installs, I get an error popup with "Unknown error code during application install: "-24" Nothing on google about this specific error code. Oddly enough, my updates go through fine and I can download most apps, and the three apps I have seen this issue with are google apps - Google Camera, Google Docs and Google Sheets. Google Docs actually did install fine once, but as part of my troubleshooting I tried uninstalling it and now it won't reinstall.
I have cleared the play store app's data and cache, as well as cleared cache via recovery and via app cache cleaner. Error still sits there.
Anyone successfully install the three apps I refer to? Or run into insufficient space or "-24" error?
Here is a screen shot of.the error message. I didn't get one of the insufficient space message.

I also took the additional step of clearing data and cache from play services as well. No luck, still getting those errors. Anyone have any idea?

I take it I can't use this fix unless rooted? What about via ADB?

I have tried the usual methods
1)clearing app data
2)uninstalling playstore updates and reinstalling it.
3)resetting the device.
4)rooting and uninstalling the play store completely and reinstalling it.
5)deleting the host file etc.
