It's a new device and we have 3 custom roms for it, even cm12, which is not supported for all devices. Just have patience and wait, we have solid bases to make stable custom roms.
For all the guys saying "s3 neo is basicly a s3" NO ITS NOT. It has a diffirent chip. So thats why you cant just port the rom.
Is work in s3 neo??

It's possible, but you need someone who is developer to do porting stuff.
If your device doesn't support ICS by default, you can use unofficial ROMs.

I'm working on porting this and I can confirm it is possible! It runs really slowly but it works. However there are complication which include it not running Android 4.0.

Yeah you can use a unoffical ROM. I use Jelly Bread. Google it, it's a good rom
And it does the trick, there's a lot of trickery involved. You can ask pureexe he ported it to Nexus He's good with that

@pureexe is right, it's hard but it's possible. Because ICS is not open source you need to make a custom build from the start with the kernel only pre built. If someone was putting time and effort into this they would be surprised with how easy it is. If you use custom ROM it fakes the check. However, this brings up problems thus making your device unstable.

Request is for S6 port ROM with android 5.0.2 or 5.1.1 as base and all s6 feature including fully working themestore.
like Darklord ROM for Note 3 snapdragon, AUORA S6 PORT for S4 Exynos, GLAMOUR ROM for Note 4 Exynos

1. Just flash pekeka. It has S6 features including the theme store working. My GF has the phone its there. I'm guessing it is an S6 port cause on other ROMs no1 has been able to get the theming going fully S6. (Far as I know.) I have Note 3 on Sprint. But they are working on it.
Im almost not sure why u asking the question. Pekeka is good way to get the features of the s6.
In the meantime why not play with a cool keyboard?

Are there any custom ROMs for Samsung Galaxy A3.
Is there AT LEAST anyone trying to make one.

There isn't any custom ROM yet, but we have a deodex for our device. You can get it here:

Will there ever be any custom ROM for galaxy A3? Because, Samsung will probably not release any more updates for this phone. No development on 5.1.1 yet. Only way to get gl higher android versions is to make Custom ROM.

I THINK i might be able to make one by porting CM12.1 for example from other device similar to ours and i have been researching and found out that Motorola Moto E is almost very similar to A3.
So i might actually try porting it and i hope it's easy as it looks in the tutorial.
Motorola Moto E is left and A3 is right

Yes, these two devices share same processor. Also keep in mind, a custom ROM is already under development for A5. Maybe, we could try and port that on A3?

That ROM is still in beta status with bugs so it is not a good idea to port that to A3.
I think it's better to wait for the new cyanogenmod version(marshmallow) to release first.
Then someone to build it for our device.
Maybe I will try to build for A3 but right now I'm busy with college stuff.

Hey guys I have good news for A3 users (not custom ROM, unfortunately)
I'm currently porting AOSP theme to our systemui.apk settings.apk and etc (notification panel, transparent recent, status bar, etc) it should be ready by this weekend if the original dev permits me of distributing it.

Unfortunately, I think same was said for Lollipop. The device is already almost one year old. If we don't do it now, it will be completely forgotten. It won't be easy to port Marshmallow if we are not familiar to porting Lollipop. I think we better start with Lollipop even if it contains bugs.

The difficulty would still be the same be it lollipop or marshmallow. It would still be completely different even if the custom ROM in trying to build is lollipop because Samsung uses TouchWiz ROMs which is very different from AOSP (cyanogen, blisspop, noname, etc)
BTW the bugs aren't within the Cyanogen version itself but the build was faulty. So it's futile to port a faulty build. Plus you have to modify a tonne of stuff in order to port the CM12.1 ROM. Even porting the A500F CM12.1 ROM to other variants of A5 causes massive headaches.
Trust me I have experience.
I'm pretty sure one day someone will develop for us, if not then it'll be me, but I'm too busy with college now D: and I have a computer too crappy to build ROMs. So that sucks :/
Can I actually root the lollipop version of A3? I need the system files but can't do without root
Yes, you can.

Check for Dooola note 7 for Note 4 rom at youtube. There are many download alternatives.
Hi Best custom Rom is Erobot 1.7
Can someone move this thread to the appropriate section and please respect the membership given to everyone to keep things organised
First, flash the latest official rom.
Then, root it.
Then, flash TWRP custom recovery.
Flash wanam Xposed installer.
You can even flash an S6 keyboard, which looks better than the official one.
Myself, I flashed Spacelemon kernel as well, so I can use the app called Synapse.
Install 'uninstall expert' or "root essentials" and remove all the useless apps with any of them.
Then, replace your gallery and my files apps with S7 ones. I even replaced my touchwiz with the Note 3 touchwiz.
Now you've got yourself the best customized rom with the latest security updates.
The most important thing about this, is that you are the one who customized it, plus battery lasts longer than any other custom roms I tried until now.
But....
I will still keep trying the other custom roms, until I find the best. (At the moment I am trying eRobot V17. It looks very good so far. I have my nandroid back up, so nothing to worry...)
Thank You!..
Hi folks,
So my mother has a I9505 galaxy s4 (italian) and I want to install a custom recovery and rom for her to hrlp the device be more functional and fast. Can you please suggest which rom I should choose and what steps I should follow to install the recovery etc..
Thanks!
You can flash twrp from Odin and then you can use twrp to flash custom ROMs.
If you want a very stable ROM, you should stock with these stock ROM or custom ROMs that are as close to stock as possible.
That simple? TWRP and then the custom ROM of choice? Which ROM do you recommend for daily usage which is fast and possibly based off Android 6 or 7?

Are you familiar with Odin? Is the s4 already rooted? (Towel root worked for me) and that is done directly from the s4. As far as ROMs go I have tried almost all of them and ultimately I really enjoyed the tipsy ROM but it runs on kit kat.. Google just recently released Google assistant for all devices running 5.0 and up. So I went to CM 12 running 5.1.1 and it runs pretty smoothly. The most important thing to remember to always always always back up your device..ALWAYS LOL.
And when I first started to dabble in rooting I had the T-Mobile Galaxy S.. The first one that came with Avatar lol.. I'll just say this.. As long as it turns on and u can enter either recovery or download mode you can pretty much recover from and mistake.. Pretty much.
XDA has a great first start section for rooting. And most of the developers are very good at explaining the step by step.
I recommend getting very familiar with your recovery since that will be your primary source of flashing.. Because u can't just flash one! Lol once u get your first successful flash Ro a new custom ROM its like sex.. Gotta see what else u can flash to the device ( for example lucky patcher) and then you will start learning that the developers have some really cool stuff out there..
And CM does nightly ROMs meaning its constantly being updated!
Just do your research first if u don't know ask( obviously lol) Google Google Google lol and ALWAYS ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR DEV.
Titanium Backup in NY opinion is the best.. Hope I didn't get to off topic and I hope I helped.. If u have any other questions I will do NY beat to help and answer them.
