Hello i have bought an imported Note 3 N9005 from Dubai(UAE)..I want to root it..Is it safe to root it via chainfire root...

chainfire CF-Auto Root is based on Device Type and Product Name of the phone.
Use Phone INFO ★Samsung★ to get Device Type and Product Name info, then download root file at http://autoroot.chainfire.eu

[Q] Kingo rooting and N910C

Hi all,
Kingo released the a new version of their software (1.3.2) in which they indicate that it now supports rooting the note 4 N910C.
Did anyone try this yet and if so, can they verify that knox is not tripped in this rooting process?
Also, please do tell which baseband and kernel did you have when you rooted using Kingo
I just got the note 4 and would love to know if this method keeps the warranty. I intend to root and keep the original ROM, just want to get TB on the phone to clear up the bloatware.

Hi, new here on this forum my wife bought my daughter a tab 4, itsversiin is 4.4.2 i wanted to root it but when i check the forum theres no SM-T231 on the roms available. I have a note 3 under omega 25.1 LP. Can anyone help me wih my daughters tab and suggest a good rom. Alsonif a root my daughters tab can she use "whatsapp"? Thanking you guys in advance.

There are almost no roms for T23X because it's not a very popular device and has even lesser-known SoC (Marvell PXA1088).
You can still root the device using odin to flash recovery and then SuperSU zip in the recovery. (Link to the recovery: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=28382 )
Root does not break whatsapp.

How to root - Galaxy Note 3 4.4.2?

I got a Galaxy Note 3 OS 4.4.2 version SM-N9005. I would like to root this device.
Can anyone direct me to the right method to do so.

Google : cf autoroot galaxy note 3 xda forums. Follow the rest there. You will trip Knox counter and lose warranty.
Go to development forums for note 3 and search for more methods. And read to pick up right files for 4.4.

Best way is to install a custom recovery, TWRP for example (see dev section), and then flash the SuperSU zip package from that recovery and you will be done. Get the zip package from here, https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip

I updated my Note 4 with the Poland 5.1.1 Android firmware but haven't been able to find any working root method.
If someone knows of any working method, I would like to know.
