Why are they missing? Same goes for the subforums, why don't we have a DV8P/DV11P subs?
I tried searching for them, but the search terms were too broad to find a thread on it. Sorry if this was already answered.

I've been using my A500 just to mess around, but I really want to get it to run on Windows 8 so I can use it for school a lot more effectively. I know there are some unsupported hardware, but are there any work arounds?

I don't think so because its only available in India as I read. And its a mediatek device so you shouldn't find a lot if ROMs for it.
Your best bet would be the international section on Oppo forums. See if anything is available there, which i doubt.
