AICP Project for LG G3 - G3 General

Are you looking for a good AOSP ROM. Just try AICP (Android Ice Cold Project). In my opinion, the best LG G3 AOSP out there. Just, smooth, stable, updated everyday.

Really stable for me. Now errors or issues. Battery looks very good so far. But I have this ROM only 2 day. I'm very satisfied.

Yea, that seems to be the unofficial release while the one OP links to is the official one.
I wonder why they didn't post a thread in the development thread..

Ok... glad it's back.
Audio lag bug is still there.
Doesn't seen to be as updated as gumy or crdroid, as the camera fcs if using one the latest custom kernels.

Is there someone who follows in David's footsteps (regarding maintaining our device)?

Will we be getting the latest snapshot build or should I just go ahead and stick with Paranoid Android?
As usual, seemingly no M9 for falcon.

As i have seen in a review....data on second sim was claimed to be fixed on 2/08...whereas even in 3/8 nightly its the same....same subscription not active bug...any ideas???
M9 builds are still rolling out. I don't see any notes about falcon here: http://jenkins.cyanogenmod.org/view/All/builds
Hopefully, it's just haven't been built yet.

Its a bug in CM that started around the 20-07 builds, there have been various commits that have supposedly fixed the issue for some moto g's but not others. I'm gonna take a guess and say that slim rom is based (entirely or partly) on CM and because the audio issue still hasn't been fixed for CM it wont be fixed for other roms based of it, your best bet is to flash the AudioFixV3 which changes the audio blobs/files back to the last nightly (20-06 i believe) that didn't have the audio issues. Note that this file was meant for CM so i don't know how it will effect other roms.

Just be patient, guys, and keep fingers crossed: falcon build is queued as #78606, and the current one is #78517.
So hopefully tonight we'll see the result.

Which groups are making Roms?

Does anyone know who are the best known recognized developer groups making Roms for the G3 (if any)?
rumors, maybes, confirmed?
I've heard cm is on it, but other than that idk
---------- Post added at 06:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:24 PM ----------
Also think I they I heard dirty unicorn is working on it, and I knoe OctOS had plans to support, but I don't think they've started yet
Cm probably do a great job on this device like others but we don't know any others yet because G3 used to have a bootloader lock.
Let's hope plenty of developers jump on board now the boot Loader problem had been circumnavigated.
Apparently LiquidSmooth is being worked on.
I would love to see purity rom on this beast also.
Can't wait to get Dirty with some Dirty Unicorns :highfive:
I haven't bothered rooting because there are no roms yet. Would be interesting to know what to expect. Cm is at least something promising.
Ohh! Purity ROM on this phone will go blazing fast! Can't wait for the flood of ROMS

I'm the same shadehh regards rooting. Untill the main stream rom makers are churning out top quality stuff I'll hold on.
I'd love to see Archidroid here. Some of the finest IMHO.
i have asked on the g+ page of aicp and test builds will be made as soon as the sources are released to bump the roms

Maybe we should let'em know about bump...

Bump! has already gained enough publicity from some tech blogs for ROM devs to know about it. Let's wait and give Team Codefire time to release the bumping process & I'm pretty sure we'll see a couple of ROMs pop-up soon after that!
CandyKat are working on a ROM. I asked the other day https://plus.google.com/114490049576855321482/posts/CAoWbPPn2cF (scroll to the bottom).

Yes we are. We have a sprint build waiting to be bumped already. Working in some device trees for other variants. We are very interested in developing for this phone as a few of us on the team have it.
I'm not too bothered about custom roms but would love to see custom kernel, something like boeffla on S3, that would be awesome

Thanks for your interest in creating ROMs for the G3. Seeing the increase in developer participation over the past week or so has been great. If you plan to put out any VS985 builds, I'd be happy to give them a test run.

Most stable Custom ROM to date?

So I just upgraded from Moto X Play to Moto X Style and I was wondering, Other than the stock ROM, what is the most stable ROM right now? I'm thinking of jumping from stock ROM to custom ROM, can any of you give me an advice of which ROM should I flash?
Thanks in advance

Well if u say my suggestion then try rr nougat or give a shot to cm 14.1
I use aicp because cm14.1 has stopped the development and maintainer of that thread is currently merging through Lineageos which usually takes time (even lineageos is not out till now officially)
Cm 14.1 has multi window which aicp doesn't have but aicp is ahead of cm14.1 for weeklies
U try by ur own...

AICP is very fast and very stable with most everything working well. My only issue is camera performance but I may be in the minority with that issue.

How bug free is it? How about the battery life? Do you get around 3-4 SOT with normal usage? This got me curious as i am also finding a great ROM to suit my needs.

I never had any problems at all, battery life is better than most 3rd part roms but not quite stock (Moto knows how to optimize a rom), about 3 hours or so over a full day.
Again, I'll say the same thing as others, try them out, it's easy to do.

so I tried out and flashed RR Nougat but when I flashed it I got this a strange error at the log, I couldn't remember what it is but I took a screenshot so you can see and tell me what this means.

BrokenOS devs don't allow links to be shared here...
How could you not find it with Google, just type BrokenOS and that's it and the first two results are the official Google+ group and their website called Dysfunctional ROMs... Easy from there.

Which is the best Lineage OS for Redmi 3S (land)?

I found two editions so far, which are updated regularly. Here they are:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-3s/development/lineageos-t3547309

Is here somebody who tried both or at least one of them? Can somebody send me the detailed AnTuTu scores? Any random reboots or annoying bugs?

I agree. The ROM by fedosis is much more stable than the Isferreira on miui. I had random reboots when on maps and now don't have any issues with the one from fedosis. I also agree that these are best two LineageOS ROMS out there for our device. Both Dev's, great work. And thank you.

Most stable non-OOS Rom?

Hey everybody. Like the title says, I'm wondering, what is the most stable non-OOS ROM? I'm currently on Liquid, and have been having some serious gps issues in the middle of multiple trips. So I'm looking to switch it up.
I know that XXX is typically the go to OOS ROM, but I really like the feel of pure stock Android.
For me, the aosip rom is the most stable non stock rom, very smooth and battery life is perfect, give it a try
