I have got my note 4 rooted and currently have twrp installed. I want to install cwm but every time I try by either Odin or flashify it just stops doing anything and won't install. Any ideas?

OK, I've had my S4 a couple months. It's already been rooted, with TWRP installed and also MDOB custom ROM. But tonight I decided to replace TWRP recovery with CWM then I was going to flash CM 10.2. after flashing CWM I now have the yellow triangle and a message saying "system software not authorized by AT&T has been found on your phone" and the phone won't boot nor recovery is working. With no recovery I can't reflash the current ROM i had installed, I have the MDOB file on my memory card ready to reflash, but the phone won't do nothing. What to do now?
Can you get into download mode by pressing home, power, and volume down at the same time while booting up? If so, you could use this guide I've had success with. http://galaxys4root.com/galaxy-s4-tutorials/how-to-unroot-galaxy-s4-and-remove-root-completely/

I had a similar issue were I flashed philz recovery and it wasn't the loki'd zip.I to had the triangle of death with unauthorized ATT msg, I tried three times to boot into recovery and the last time I tried it went to (pic posted)and from there I pushed down for restart phone.it booted up like a regular reboot and was OK.
Also after it booted I lost custom recovery, so like I did the first time I achieved recovery I flashed with ROM manager clicking the T-Mobile S4 when prompted. Note : only use ROM manager to flash recovery.now use recovery to flash a auto Loki recovery. Hit thanks if I helped

Hi, I'm trying to install TWRP recovery on my AT&T S4, since I need it to flash a Kit Kat ROM. Currently I'm using the CWM-based OUDHS recovery, but I can't seem to overwrite it with TWRP. I've tried installing it with GooManager and with the Casual tool, but, whenever I restart to recovery, I go back to OUDHS. I would try ODIN, but I'm on a mac, and I don't think there's a mac version available. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks! That worked perfectly.
I have a D801 (T-Mobile). I rooted it a while back. I'm a bit of a noob. Recently, I wanted to flash KitKat. To do that, I had to flash a custom recovery. I installed TWRP as that was the one my instructions gave me. However, I am unable to flash anything. I cannot flash kitkat, cwm, stock, etc. I need any and all suggestions to at least flash stock recovery though I would really prefer to flash cwm.

Having a recovery that is up to date is key to flashing kitkat roms. I use Freegee. It's a free app in the Play Store. Once you install and run you'll have the option to install a recent twrp or cwm. You flash the recovery from the app, could not be easier. I recommend twrp 2.6.3.3 as I had issues with cwm 6.0.4.6 and it's also faster.
Make sure you're rooted before
Returned to Stock

I was rooted. Also, nothing seemed to recognize d801. They recognized the verizon, att, and the international but not t-mobile. I eventually just had to reinstall the stock rom as installing cwm over twrp froze my phone on the lg logo. Haven't gotten back around to rooting it again. When I do, I will definitely try that app.
Thank you

Thanks you for suggesting Freegee. I have been unable to flash anything for a while but after I downloaded Freegee and updated my version of TWRP I was able to flash the current version of PA.

You have to flash the right file for your phone and os i.e. 4.4 twrp/cwm if you have kitkat or 4.3 twrp/cwm if you have jellybeans.

Hi there,
I'm trying to flash Resurrection Remix 6.0.1 to my Note 3. I've rooted with Kingo, flashed cwmod through ROM manager and done a backup. The ROM file and GApps are ready to go on my SD card. But whenever I try to get into recovery, I end up in the stock recovery instead? Any ideas how I can get around this? From reading around it seems Samsung phones can force stock recovery if they detect anything else. I've read that Philz Recovery can get around this but I don't have a Windows PC (rather than a Mac) to use Odin.
Use this to flash twrp and then reboot to recovery. Twrp will get around the stock recovery flash. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify
