I bought lenovo yoga 2 -830LC from China. It's software is YT2-830LC_USR_S000053_1411140954_WW21_CN. Its not came with gapps. So I tried to root with all software like Kongo root,root tenuous,farmaroot,towel root biudu but not successful. Please help me either for root or installation of gapps as its shows no connection when I tried to open Google play.

Sorry for my poor English. My lenovo k1 can't start up!!!
I have upgraded my lenovo k1 to 4.1.2 and it is working smoothly.
However, since I want to use a app that need to modify the model,
I rooted k1 by modifing the model message in build.propin system file.
But the app was still not work, I directly use the original build.prop to cover the modified one.
After that, I restarted my k1, it stoped after the lenovo logo appearing. It couldn't enter the UI.
But it could still enter APX model.
Can anyone provide me a downgrade rom? Thank you very much!!~~~~

I have rooted my tablet with iRoot . A part of it Kingroot is considered as malware here . So I want to remove it completely. It stays even after factory reset., so I need to flash a complete firmware.

hi, i am looking for the same firmware, but your problem is simple , go to google store and get the free app called Super-Sume. it will remove all traces of your root app and install superSU your device will still be benefiting all root privileges .
my lenovo is bricked and i have no backup, if you could do a device backup of your firmware with or without malware it would save my device. please let me know how it worked.

I am having problem with Lenovo Vibe Z2 non pro version (5,5" Qualcomm 4 core, 2GB RAM/32GB ROM) Its chinese version - it has China Mobile written on its back , software compilation number is VIBEUI_V2.0_1439_ST_Z2_CMCC, hardware version number is H203. I am having a problem with COM.ANDROID.PHONE process stopping when i am trying to make a call (just after that, phone asks me to reenter PIN code of my SIM card) Factory reset and clearing cache/data of Phone app didnt help. Could You please provide me with ROM file and some instruction how to flash my phone? Best option would be rom with Polish language, without all lenovo trash apps and with google play store (optionally with root or instruction how to root it)

ok so now it's confirmed that the nougat update will come in October 2017, which is wayyy too long to wait, now is there a way to dual boot install windows 10 into android lenovo yoga book? I'm a noob in installing stuff ( I always refer to the youtube videos), so any easy instructions on how to do this? plus before doing this at all, is there any way to backup the Android of the yoga book so that if anything goes wrong i could revert back easily? Friends, I recently purchased a Redmi Note 5A and would like to root it. When searching the internet I found only unlock tutorials via fastboot. Is there any other, more practical way, that you do not need to use a computer?
I've already asked for the bootloader unlock via settings as recommended but still unsuccessful. Do I need to wait or can I do the procedure without fear of brick?
