Which roms have crt animation? - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, i havent rooted my phones for a while and have decided to try it again on my s4.
I realise that the new lollipop update for the nexus got rid of the crt animation.
I just wondered if there is any roms for the s4 that still have the crt off animation? Or is there anyway that i can install it at all? Maybe through xposed?? But i dont have any experience with that so will have to read up?
Sorry if it seems like a minor question, but i just really liked the animation lol.
Thanks to anyone that can help

It will work with the rooted stock rom

Wanam Xposed won't work with Lollipop though. Yea with JB and KK versions, you can have ur crt animation back.

[Q] How do you remap the hardware buttons?

I just picked up my S4 yesterday and am loving it so far (came from an ELTE). However, I would really like to map the long press of each of the 3 buttons to something else. The main things I would like to be able to access with the buttons are: voice search, in-app search and kill current app. I've searched around and haven't found much. Please let me know if there's a way to do this!
Thanks!
This isn't possible on a stock rom, but some custom roms have this ability, like Slim bean

Thank you for the reply. That's exactly what I wanted to know. I've rooted my phone, but I'm waiting until after the 14 day return period to flash a custom recovery/rom (so as to avoid any shenanigans if I decide to return it). I guess I'll have to wait until then for this functionality.
You can try one of the xposed modules. They work on stock rooted, odexed or deodexed. The latest one is available on the market called wanam xposed. Follow the instructions, you will have to download the xposed framework and install it before you run the wanum xposed. There is also nottach xposed you can find in the apps section in this forum. Not all of the features work for our phone but many do especially the new wanum xposed.
Won't modify the system files do the trick?

Cruise, your suggestion worked perfectly. Remapped the buttons the way I wanted, and got some other nice tweaks, too. Thanks again!

Hey dodgeboy...I came across your thread here while looking for the same solution to remap the menu key to long press kill app. I'm sort of noob on this stuff, but wondered if you can tell me exactly what you installed to make this happen? I'm on Stock Rooted, MF9, Deodexed. Hope this doesn't bug you. Thanks sir.

Battery mod that'll work on Infamous' ROM

Hi all, I tried searching but I'm still very much new at all of this, and unsure of what's compatible with what. Can anyone direct me to a mod that I can flash on TRWM to get cyanogenmod-like battery icons at the notification bar, instead of the stock one that doesnt show battery %?
Note: I am on the Infamous 4.4 ROM
I appreciate it thanks.

Infamous is a GE 4.4 Kitkat ROM, right? Then you can install Xposed Installer, then the Gravity Box module. You can find both via Google. Make sure you download it from the XDA forum, and not some random site.
I have a GE 4,4 ROM installed and it runs Xposed and Gravity Box beautifully.
Here ya go--If not familiar with xposed or gbox read up a little

DPI question

Hey everyone I just upgraded to 4.4 (kitkat I think), I came from maximus from MININ3
I loved, LOVED the DPI I believe it was 2 something?
Anyway I'm now looking for ROMs or ways to adjust my DPI?
I haven't seen any 4.4 ROMs with lower DPI, or maybe I'm just missing something.
I'm currently running, Apex launcher and I made my icons smaller but I'm looking to make everything smaller notification bar, etc.
Thanks for any help

Its actually an n9005 rom, Not ATT . Maybe the port works but you have to ask in their thread.
I know for sure that it works on Tmobile and canadian variants.

Awesome IOS style animations

Sharing a Awesome mod which will change your overall phone animation......Not my work...I am just sharing..Credit goes to the dev.
Original thread:-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/themes-apps/flankeranimation-t2814427
This works for any phone seems to be ...So far I have tried on Note 3 Neo SM-N750 & S3 (Stock & AOSP).
Please note: I have only tried to de-odexed ROM...Not sure about Odex.
Flash this in custom recovery....
But you will love it once you install it.
Root needed? I am guessing yes.

Change QuickSettings Menu i9506

Hi, I'm new here so correct me if I make any mistakes. I just got a new s4 lte+ and tried installing a cm13 like Rom. It seemed to be a little uncomfortable so I restored my backup. Why I tried moving to this Rom is because of the cool quicksettings tab (the thing that you pull down). Right now I'm running rooted and xposed stock odexed 5.0.1. Is there any way that I can get myself this cool quicksettings menu without using any crappy launchers? Maybe there is a module for that??? I know it's nothing super serious but I thought maybe someone has an idea or did it himself. Thanks !!!
Wanam module might have something similar.
But you won't get CM style on TouchWiz.
