Wholeheartedly agree... there are numerous young and keen devs and themers on the SE Xperia and the ZTE Blade XDA and MoDaCo boards (those I'm aware of) and they are generally very promising.
Perhaps the OP has taken something from this in terms of the intro...

Hello everyone!
I am looking for developers forthe creation of a brand new ROM.
I would like a ROM,a CM, AOKP and a mixture of BAKED BLACKBEAN codes.
Unfortunately I am not really good at programming but I have concrete plans and own ideas.
If you feel that you can help me or have an own group then write me.
Sorry,but my english knowledge is not the best...

I can help on exploring good features of other Roms,which you can include all these in your new ROM.I am not a developer but i am user.

I can join your team. But since my internet is slow, I am not willing to fetch source and compile.
If you want I can remotely add features to the source on github maybe, then you can pull the commits and compile.
I suggest we create a new github.com account which all devs in the team can access.
If you are interested then contact via PM

Try all available rooting ways in this post ,maybe you will get your phone rooted ,or you can wait until i find the 100% working rooting way, and i will post it here .

you have to download Samsung drivers first for your not 5 from here or you can search it on xda forum And you have to enable usb debugging

I did, but it is stuck at "Detecting device".

I updated this post with another rooting tools

Any opinions regarding rooting Note 5....
... with respect to Sprint, T-Mobile vs AT&T and Verizon?
Will there be the same problems with Verizon and AT&T Note 5 with locked bootloader as there were with the Note 4s?

maybe all Note 5 versions will behave similarly, since it's just a knock-off off the Galaxy S6 ?!?
Any help appreciated a lot! - Looking to buy next Friday and Sprint is more expensive, but I need some chance of proper root in the not too distant future...

Not unless they find a brand new exploit. The ping ping root exploit has been closed and never open for business again.

Im guessing that he found a flaw in the boot-loader, which should be why it will be cross device.

without full root,they can not push 3rd ROM

Just seen from ubberlaggydarwin page (he work for our port on CM) is ready and will be soon in CM Git

If he submitted the source to CM, it should take about 2 weeks to be processed and then showed in the wiki pages on Cyanogen. You can then have the rom etc. In my experience it takes about 2 weeks, I don't develop for this phone but mainly Samsung phones. But It may differ.

I have recently (March 22, 2016) gotten into contact with the person who was originally working on the Cyanogenmod for the 306sh, and found that he had ceased progress on the project, and posted what he did have on Github. Sorry to inform everyone of this..

1) WHY did he quit?
2) What's his GitHub link?

And he never stated why he stopped development, as unfortunate as it is..

I saw in another thread that idol 3 5.5 wont receive android 5.1.1 update (i dont really care about that), but does someone knows if it will get the android 6.0 update ?

This question gets posted almost every day. It has been posted, but not confirmed, that Alcatel is working on 6.0 to be released by the end of the year.

I'd say this is the most likely way we will see 6.0 now that the CM12.1 egg has been (mostly) cracked.

I'd take this with a pinch of salt as it comes from their facebook team and not from an official rep, but they've confirmed it on Facebook:

That's a long wait

If you want constant updates buy Nexus or Sony device. Otherwise stop complaining
I personally don´t care what Os version i have until everything works.
EDIT: that is what Czech Alcatel facebook PR says. They said (today 23.10.2015) that they will skip 5.1 and release 6.0 for IDOL3 5.5 in Q1 of 2016.
