Hello
I will buy the note 3 today hopefully
So im undecided to get between the 2 versions (n900 vs n9005)
both are available in my country with an additional 80$ for n9005
the question is which is better overall
1 Performance ?
2 Stability?
3 Developement and support?
4 Sound ?
btw i dont need 4g
THank you all :good:
..
Same question here, is it worth the extra 100$ to buy the n9005? Will the difference in performance and battery life justify the extra money?
Personally I wouldn't use the 4k recording and we don't have 4G here just as yet.
Same Scenario Here, paid the extra money and will never buy anything exynos again,
The N9005 has more love when it comes to developement.
There has been some reports of the exynos n900 overheating but as I don't own one I'm not inclined to say this is so.
Sorry to resurrect an oldish thread, but just bought a used Note 3 which was advertised as an N9005 however settings>About Phone tells me it's an SM-N900, baseband version N900TUVUCNB4(which research tells me is a T-Mobile N900), the label on phone in the battery compartment identifies it as an SM-N900.
We have challenged the seller saying it's not an N9005 but he is insisting that the N900 is only a series name and that I have the N9005. Is this correct? It doesnt sound right to me - I have a Note 2 LTE which identifies itself as an N7105, versus the3G model which identifies itself as an N7100.
Can anybody confirm what I should see under model number?
Thanks in advance
It's very easy. If in Settings - "About device" - "Model number" you have SM-N900, it's the 3G Exynos version of the Note 3. If it says N9005 is the 4G Snapdragon version of the Note 3. You can't flash a SM-N9005 firmware on a SM-N900 and you can't flash a SM-N900 firmware on a SM-N9005.
The seller just wants to make you keep the phone.

HI guys
Where or how can i get this app to work on my S4?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.allShareControl
My device is not rooted etc, not sure if there is a universal .apk somewhere?
It seems to be only supporting S3?
This app isnt compatible with ur S4. I dont need add anything more :highfive:
Hello I have a note 2 and I used the apk always. Now i installed DN4 and the songs of the phone care all like note 4. The apk opens for 1 second and a pop up says "this application is not compatible with your device".
. Any help with this?
Hi all,
Sorry to be a pain, but I just bought a Note 3 "n900" (http://www.ebay.com/itm/361130730558) and I've been doing some reading and saw that lollipop may be avalible for my soon-to-be new phone.
But i'm a little confused, my search results bring up pages of SM-n900 and I am not sure if this is the same thing as just plain old n900 which is the version that I bought.
Anyway, if anyone can clarify the difference, i'd appreciate it. I'm specifically just looking to flash lollipop when it arrives (if it already doesn't update) and root to remove bloatware. Any advice?
Thanks!
SM stands for Samsung Mobile.
The full device designation is SM-N900. N900 is the same device, the name has just been shortened for convenience sake.
If you go to Settings > General > About Device it should say SM-N900 under Model Number.

Thank you!!
Hey all I am looking for the device name for N950U Note 8.
Note 4 and s5, for instance was called msm_sdcc.1
what is the note 8 named?
anyone also happen to know what the s8 and s8+ are named? G950 and G955U snapdragon variants please.
I don't have any phones in hand to check myself and I am working on new faster FRP method that doesn't require unlock boxes...a one click solution. Just need the names to finish the file.
Hey Guys,
I am in need of TWRP recovery for Galaxy Note 4 SM-N9100. I am not able to find the right file in internet. Can someone please help me on that. Thanks.
You didn't search very hard. https://twrp.me/Devices/ and type note 4 then select your model from the list. There are many variants and you didn't mention which one you have. G, F etc.
What is etc.?
It's a short version of the Latin "et cetera" and it just means "and so on" or "other things". In this case, the long list of Note 4 models.
