[Q] Is 4.4.2 rootable? - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I looked around for a bit, but couldn't find any solid answers to this. If a Verizon Note 3 is on this version of Android, is it rootable?

Yes, 4.4.2 is rootable with TowelRoot. 4.4.4 is not, currently.

Second for Geohot root method. I am currently popping my S4's ROM cherry and flashing SHOShock! worked great and Safestrap still works flawlessly :good:
Trying to Root AT&T Galaxy S4 i337 4.4.2 methods fail, why?
I am trying to root my AT&T Galaxy S4 i337UCUFNB1 android 4.4.2 kitkat. I have tried the towelroot method by Geohot and it fails because the phone reboots and I've also tried the "motochopper" method :"http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40747604":4382 , which looked like it was going to work and then I get this error in the image provided. I don't know what I am doing wrong I followed the steps of both methods, if someone can help me figure this out I would be VERY grateful!

Rooted AT&T 4.3 MK2 upgrading to 4.4.2 (and root)?

Hi,
My S4 was rooted using vroot. I've disabled the updates so it's still on 4.3 MK2.
Is there a safe process to upgrade to the latest 4.4.2? Any way to keep root or re-root?
Thanks
I haven't tried this but I read it with interest yesterday

Thanks

[Q] Trouble rooting 4.4.2 NC1

Hello
I just traded my HTC for a GS4. It is AT&T unlocked running android 4.4.2 and baseband NC1 with MDF V1.0 release 2
Does this mean my phone cannot be rooted?
Pleaes tell me me how to root this device so I can run custom roms. I can't stand the bloatware on this.
