Hi guys
I want to change my galaxy s4 I9505's battery .
I found a great deal to buy a 2600 original samsung battery BUT , the problem is that :
All the notes on the battery are the same as mine beside this :
11,78 Wh - new battery
9,88 Wh - my battery .
--------------------------
Charge voltage limiting 4,35V - new battery
Charge voltage limiting 3,8V - my battery .
Will it work with these things different from my battery ?
What does 11,78 Wh mean ?
Thanks alot ! ^^

Hi
Why is the output of the battery this battery ( if true) is able to give you more milliamps per hour than your original battery , almost 20% more
The charging voltage is higher because it need more voltage to charge more milliamps..

Hmmm , I understand .
So nothing harmful about it .
Thanks a lot

which one the best batt for atom life... XP-9(made in china) or XP-2 (made in thaiwan) ??
i have one XP-9. i dunno why can not charge if my batt overheat
can u photo XP-09 and show me original batt
the XP-09 is a 1530mAh whilst the XP-02 is 2200mAh and the XP-09 is the original battery provided by mWg/o2.
The XP-09 battery has always had issues with overheating and there is not solution just yet.
hm.. so batt XP-09 getting hot/overhead can not charge is normaly? really?
if i change another type batt solve the problem?
help me. thx
Hi....
My problem happened suddenly ... i found my phone charges at 1900mA .. i tried to change the charger but even the 0.7ma output charger gives me 1900mA ... i use the original charger and battery and i changed the charger and the battery with now ones but the sames... when i remove the battery for 10 mints .. it charges at 1200mA for short time maybe 5 mints then goes 1900mA and it chrges the battery in less than 40 mints but -_- it drains very quickly ..... what are your opinions ? What is the problem ? How can i overcome it ?
..
Thanx all ..

So your problem is high battery drain? SGS4 charger is 2000 mA, so I think 1900 mA charging current is normal - but 700 mA charger should not output 1900 mA - maybe there is some mistake? Have you actually measured the output current of a charger?
How old your battery is and does it have bumps on the sides (needs to be flat sides)? And see battery stats is your phone staying awake while you not using it?

The mobile and the battery are new ... i bought them less than a month ago .. .... i tried 3 batteries from my friends ... all have the same thing.... my ....my one phone just read the 0.7A charger as 1900mA power ....
my battery starts to drain 3 days..... when it 100% and i use *#0228## it get 70% ... then i charge it 100% it isnot draining ...
Have you checked does the battery voltage change, if the battery percentage is not draining`?

How can i check the voltage and wt the optimum must it be?
I tried that code *#0228# which took me to batterystats, so there is battery voltage (mV).
I'm not sure about voltage amount, but try google " li ion battery voltage vs capacity", that seems to give out some info. But as far as I know battery percentage is derived from voltage, so it would be good to confirm that your phone can read battery voltages correctly. Maybe someone else is more specified about batteries, to explain details.

Hello,
I've bought an extended Battery for my GT-I9505.
My Problem:
I don't feel anything of the power increase from the new battery... It's still discharging between 8-10 hours like the Stock one.
I deleted the batterystats.bin,
I calibrated the battery,
I charged and discharged it completly several times,
After a quick research I got the Information, that I need another Kernel, becouse the Stock one don't accept the bigger battery (the kernel think the battery is full charged but the battery isn't really.)
And if I combine 1 and 1 my thought is:
The more the battery is charged, the more the output voltage.
The Mobile recognise if the battery is full to avoid an overloading.
This recognise is taken from the output Voltage exact like the percent scale.
When the Stock battery reached his 2600mah capacity the output voltage is for example 4.000 Volt.
2600 mah --> 4.000 Volt --> 100%
BUT HERE IS THE PROBLEM:
As soon as the 4.000 Volt ≙ 2600mah are reached with the new 5600mah battery the mobile thinks its full charged to protect from an overload.
And I think, that the Battery isn't really full even if the mobile says that.
Can anyone help me?
I'm don't think this is the case. I'm pretty sure there are people using extended batteries on stock ROMs.
Could it just be that the capacity is fake?
Not really... The battery has good ratings on ebay

No its from mtec
Samsung Galaxy s3 neo. So, my problem is that i recently bought extended 7000mAh zero lemon tri cell battery, and i can't get my phone to recognize it, it thinks it has 2100mAh battery, it's switching off at 1% but after i take battery out and put back in it has plenty of power left. :/ i tried changing Rom, now it's CM 12.1-20150428-UNOFFICIAL-s3ve3g,
Kernel is 3.4.0-cyanogenmod-g5f0621e [email protected]#1
Tue Apr 28 22:17:38 CEST 2015, please help on my stock oryginal rom it didn't worked as well.
Dude.... Extended battery?! These batteries are a big falsh, use ORIGINAL Samsung battery and you'll get more power. I am not joking extended batteries are bogus and drains fast. I switched from extended 2600 mAh (too good to be true) to original new fresh battery. Original one has more power than EXTENDED one...

Dude if u have nothing smart to say just stay quiet, extended battery lasts me for 2 solid days only issue is that i need to take it out and put it back, surely u were just not smart enough to know how to use an extended battery, and to your's extended 2600mAh its weird capacity so guess it was fake, or if it was really extended poropably after ur phone shut down u could just take battery out, put it back in and have like 30% power still... I know its not crap or fake it really is 7000mAh just my system is taking info about battery from hard coded file in kernel.. Gezzz
I don't know. But I don't believe that 7000 mAh battery can be sold for example $40...

Sorry but its no way possibble to use bigger capacity battery with corrected capacity... for example anker 7200mah I have but just with replace trick it use the extended capacity...
The problems is same on charge fase too... 3 time of replaces and reconnect the battery is needed to charge at real 100%.
i implimented a 4000mah battery into Yureka plus with keeping old battery's board fitted in new 4000mah battery , but backup is same as 2500mah !!
i even compiled a kernel based on AR_beast R9 with the changes in souce files responsiable for mah of battery and charge (just searched in git hub with term "2500") and changed them with 4000) and also changed framework/res/xml/power_profile with battery_capacity = 4000mah
where i am wrong ?
is there any special file which is responsiable for charge to give battery it's peek mah threshold limit ?
and also explain how to calibrate battery with the changes.

sorry for my bad english
Are you able to use this battery?
You should not use protection board from old yureka battery over new lipo pack. Which phones 4000mah batt are you using? Most lithium batteries(70-90%) sold in india are fake and hold half of the stated capacity.
The 2500 thing is just a label. The charging ic doesn't care what the label says. It simply continues to put charge current until voltage reaches 4.2v(for li-ion). The yureka charge IC maybe be charging till 4.35v because bundled battery is lipo.
Drain till 0% and charge back non stop. It should charge it full 4000mah
else
Use a knife and scrape off all traces leading to the main terminal pads on the yureka battery PCB. Then solder enamel copper wires from old PCB to new PCB. You'll have to place old protection board on existing board.
you are scamed

hello, i have also using 4k battery (bm47) on yureka, i modified the kernel to adjust the charging voltage and battery capacity according to bm47 battery. join this telegram group , i am available there, https://t.me/yureka
