I used 5.0 aosp roms for 1 month but, my phone's screen was shaking somehow. So i wanted to back stock (4.4), but i can't!!!
i tried to install 4.4 roms, using lgtool (kdz)... Unfortunately i couldn't find a way to back stock. Then, i saw a thread in this forum and it was about "flashable kdz's". i flashed it with TWRP. flash was succesfulled but i stucked in lg logo and i can't use recovery mode.
What should i do? should i wait for 5.0 kdz?(im able to use download mode by the way)

If you have a D802 simply download a flashable stock 20G/H rom and flash it in recovery after doing the wipes.

i can't boot in recovery
maybe your build.prop was changed due to 5.0 so you phone is not a D802 for the flash tool, there is a tut somewhere how to fix that i think

i tried unloacking the boot loader and my phone started to reboot itself.....

Remove battery, prepare hand for download mode(read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2108652), connect usb cable to mobile and computer...
next upload correct firmware.

you tried to go in download mode with adb commands?
cmd- cd %ADB% - adb reboot download

Yes, you cant flash a normal firmware AFTER cm10.1
You need v10d_downgrade firmware, search for it
Then you can flash anything you want

Thoose (official) kdz doesn't format/wipe necessary things to pass from cm10.1 to j4 4.1.2 or ICS ... that's what makes v10d_downgrade special, it wipes ALL (but external sdcard) and starts again from v10d in there you can flash whatever you want
Edit: if you can enter cwm you can format system, data &data/media and cache instead of flashing v10d_downgrade
You didn't have to flash a kdz at all.
The reason for bootloop was the fact that you flashed the wrong bootloader.
Next time, use e610 bootloader, instead of e612

Just load up ODIN, install through there the stock rom, it will replace twrp with stock recovery as well.
Recovery and download mode are 2 complete different things. Just boot in download mode and flash stock rom.

I actually know that they are two different modes.
The reason i'm asking this question is because most online articles refer to "Home + Vol Down" to access TWRP recovery, and this happened to be "Download Mode" before TWRP was flashed onto the device.
Unfortunately i don't have this person's device, so i can't check if this is the case (i forgot how i entered TWRP, haven't used it much)

This morning i decided to flash dori kernel. I downloaded the ota app and through it i flashed the kernel But when it rebooted it got stuck into the dreadful fastboot mode
after that i tried to flash many different kernels through adb but nothing helped and it is still stuck in fastboot mode
After countless hours of searching (still searching) i found that i can fix this by flashing the kdz file in download mode
I absolutely dont want to lose my data as it has some files which are very very important to me
There are various posts which say that i can use normal flash in flash tool if i have the same kdz as before
but i dont know which kdz it had before
it only said d80220b
but when i search for it now there are various d80220b versions(europe,asia,france,taiwan,india)etc
now i want to know if i can flash any d80220b (europe,asia etc) in normal mode over my previous one without losing any data

You flashed kernel for wrong variant...make sure you get correct kernel...power off the phone and continue to hold power button until lg screen flashes off again...now its off...hold power +vol down and when lg logo shows release and press both again quickly...a screenfor factory reset will show...follow instructions to where it will try factory reset and it will boot into twrp where you can fix with correct kernel or restore a backup

The kernel was download by the Dorimanx ota app
It says d802 on it though
I can boot into recovery though I dont have twrp i have philz recovery
after that i tried to flash various d802 kernels through adb of philz recovery
but still it stuck at fastboot mode
I was not able to make a backup as the app booted into recovery and installed at once :crying:
Can you provide me a link to the right kernel or the stock d80220b kernel?

Are you on Kitkat or Lollipop? Dori's kernels are for Kitkat ONLY. If you have KK this is the correct kernel for your phone from Dori.

well i was able to fix it (boot into my rom) by flashing the d800 kernel
what does it mean?
does it mean that i have actually a d800 and not a d802?
but it says d802 in the about phone screen and i also checked the imei online it says d802?
So can i now flash the d802 lollipop kdz or the d800 kdz?

mmm could it be a refurbished phone? and flashing wrong rom if motherboard says its a different model then touch problems appears.

enter recovery. button vilume down and power at same time, at LG logo release power, then press again. select on white screen yes twice this should take you to recovery. or download quick rreboot app.
1. flash bootstacks 5.02 KK-bumped for you variant i thikn you have d800 make sure its for your model.
2.dont reboot to system go to main menu/ reboot into recovery from recovery.
3. install the slimmed official rom for d800. it has root, and can take ota updates if AT&T sim is used.
4. go to playstore download autorec for lollipop for d800 install.
5. install thermal twrp 2.8.7.3 again. reboot to system, then you are done you have lollipop. rooted and thermal recovery...
if you want to flash a custom STOCK rom, not CM or ASOP this are different. if you want stock custom rom 5.0.2 just wipe all in recovery. copy rom you want to install while in twrp. then install and thats it you have custom stock rom if you want to.

thats something wrong with bootloader.
go back to stock again.
go into download mode and flash
KK 4.4.2 tot or kdz. the one you used.
then root/use autorec for KK

the reboot to recovery who chause de error
so i want to knaw if i just go back ans intall the rom or it will be necessary to reboot to recovery after use bootloader
So here is what happened;
I tried to flash a new version of TWRP. But i accidently flashed the whole zip file instead of img. and rebooted the system. Then i got bootloop and i could not get into recovery mode. But i got into download mode. Now here's my question/problem;
--- When i get into download mode Firmware update appears, and it gets stuck at %0. So do I need to download the stock kdz file and use lgflashtool to get it going?
I was using Resurrection Remix ROM 5.5.9 Lollipop. D802 international. CM 12.1

I didnt even try to use it until like 5 mins ago and now i found out it works, so everything is fine, i'm stupid .
