So I was flashing lollipop on my nexus 4 this morning and of course it decided to bootloop. After grabbing Julian_os tool i tried again, and now after flashing the rom the device will power on, but the boot animation wont even start, does anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this?
Flash the factory image with fastboot. Then boot into the stock recovery and clear cache and factory reset

Factory reset it in recovery mode is fine. Your rom won't be deleted.

Stuck on google screen -
Entered recovery mode, did factory reset, nothing has changed and the problem is still persisting,
What can i do!
Sounds like your system partition has been wiped, if you were running a custom ROM, flash it from recovery, if not you will have to use a guide to flash stock android.

i was using android L and then i decided to switch back to 4.4.4 stock, by using wugfresh toolkit i started flash+unroot option then on cmd it appeared that radio was not able to flash because too many links and system files was also not able to flash it was making problem to flash all those stock img, if someone know what is the solution then please help
First, flash the 4.4.4 factory image using fastboot. Second, do a factory reset in the stock recovery. Then boot your device. Problem solved.

Apparently a lot of people(including me) stuck in the boot animation while upgrading nexus 4 using the official OTA. Is it possible to upgrade to 5.0 without complete reset of the phone? I know I can backup everything, it is just kind of annoying and stupid. I have tried using fastboot command to flash everything but the user data img, and it will stuck as well. How did you guys upgrade yo 5.0?
You have to be 100% stock recovery, system, and kernel for the ota to work. If you're not flash the system, recovery and boot images from 4.4.4 in fastboot. Then try the ota again.

Hi,
I flashed custom ROM for marshmellow(Holmes ROM) in my nexus 4 and it was causing some issues. Hence i tried to flash it with stock android (occam-lmy48t-factory-416938f1.tgz) using Nexus root toolkit. But am not stuck up in the boot screen with "Google" logo and it just keep on restarting there.
Please help on how to fix this bootloop.
Thanks in advance.
