Hi, i follow you all guys since 2 years and i always been a silent reader, but right now i need your help for my question.
I saw many customized icon packs for our G2, but i still couldn't find the one with the G2 logo replacing home soft touch key.
Attached, you will find an image of what am i talking about (i only found G3 image, but that's the same of G2 one)
I searched among several threads and i found nothing about this, can you help me finding the right one for me?
Thanks
Search themes and app section with sofkey thread. It is available, do a deep search and you will find one.

I thought I saw one for the N4 a while ago but now I can't find it. I've searched the forum and Google and I come up blank for the N4. Does anybody know if one has been created and, if so, can you point me to it? That is the only reason I've been flashing ROMs but I went back to stock today and I already miss the extended power menu.

Quick play search: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.studio.extendedpower
Is that something like what you're looking for? If so I use an app called quickboot be need root.
Or do mean something like this:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.painless.pc
Pro tip: if the title starts with [Q] it probably belongs to q&a.

Yeah, I obviously wasn't thinking last night. I blame it on my newborn and the lack of sleep.
Hi all together,
i am wondering if there is a possibility to put one or two more apps in this laucher you get, when sliding from the bottom up.
Until now there are only Google search and LG Quick Memo.
Is there a possibility with rooted Stock Rom?
Thanks for hints.

If anyone knows , is there a way to make flashable themes for LG G2?
I mean themes that change the appearance of the whole device (e.g. make it look like ΑΟSP etc)
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
(Maybe give me some guides to read or anything)

Goodmorning!
I don't want themes for the "home launcher" or anything like this.... I am interested in making a theme that changes even the inside part of apps! As I said for example: make settings have an AOSP look in their menu.....

Someone is working on getting more icons . Also theres a thread with the zooper widget theme that looks identical to the weather widget in the leaked images of the G3
All of that stuff is in RocketSauce83's theme thread.

I'm working on a G3 inspired UI right now, it will be more than a "simple" theme.
Here's a screenshot of how it looks now.
I have a few things to fix here and there, plus I need to remake the Quick Settings icons / app icons.
The notification panel isn't the only thing I want to tweak, I have some more ideas, I just don't have enough free time.
If you want, I can share it with you guys when it's done.

This is my first LG phone and i am LOVING it... Are you not thinking LG will roll out the UI to the G2? I have been a long time HTC (and a couple samsung devices here and there) guy.. had no issues getting updates from either of them... LG i am not familiar with their update practices.

Uhmm maybe yes they will, considering the LG g2 is very capable and it has been the key phone for their sales of these years, so I maybe they will surely update it just like HTC did with older devices for sense 6.

I have some bad news.
I finished the mod last night, but I can't really share it as of now. Let me explain. It's basically a modified LGSystemUI.apk, which is most likely different in each ROM, maybe even different variants have different LGSystemUI.apk - if we are talking about stock ROMs - and they aren't really compatible with each other.
I'll try to make flashable zips for Cloudy ROMs, as they are the most popular (and the best) stock based ROMs imo.
Unfortunately, it won't be as simple as copying my modded .png and .xml files, because I couldn't even recompile the apk when I tried doing it. But I'll try to make it work on these 3 ROMs as soon as possible.
Maybe I'll also make a tutorial, so you will be able to cook your very own LGSystemUI.apk yourself.
Can you make the volume slider in the notification bar a Bit "flater" like the toggles?
Thank you for your work on this.

Hey XDA,
Long time lurker, first time poster. First off, thanks a ton for the detailed guides, I was able to root my phone today and install the speaker mod and the camera mod relatively quickly for a COMPLETE novice.
My next question is, can I change the color (from white to anything) of the "Show touches" cursor on my LG G2? I've attached screenshot to help explain what I'm trying to do.

As in call Verizon and ask this? I guess I haven't as I figured this would be more of a customization outside of what a large corporation would rollout?

I wasn't able to find any image files in the framework that seemed to be connected to the touch pointer image... any other ideas? I feel like someone has to have changed this feature before, it would be such a cool customization
It could be an xml file , i also looked ,but i never themed any lg roms so i might have to give another look ...it has to somewhere ....

I would think LGSettings.apk or possibly LGE-res.apk or LGSystemui.apk
If you use xposed you could add a feature request to one of the modules in the dev section.
