Hi,
I've just bought this MHL cable:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1&tag=amazonsearchshop-20
The problem is that it works perfect on my new Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (even without extra power supply, so it is 11 pins MHL 2.0), but it doesn't wotk on my S4 (i9500, last stock KK rom, custom recovery and rooted).
Do I need to activate any extra setting on the S4? I know it is not a samsung MHL cable, but is it possible that same MHL cable works fine on one device but it doesn't on a different device even for the same brand (Samsung)?????
Thanks,
It's probably because your Galaxy Tab is not rooted.
If you want a fix, you have to make one yourself. There is a fix for the I9505 and for older firmwares of the i9500, but not for Kitkat.

Yes, you could be right, my tabpro isn't yet rooted, I was thinking in rooting it this week so, should I assume that once rooted mhl won't work on my new tab? Mmmmmm...
I will check that thread and libs and I will also try mhl in my s4 unrooted...
Thanks!

Hello,
I'm using Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 LTE SM-T235 (no root, can't find it/it doesn't exist) connected to DualShock 3 with cable.
Is there any possibility to connect WIRELESS DS3? Ofc without root.
You'll help A LOT, u can't even imagine.
Thanks.
I have a S4 I905 and I just bought a ASIX usb ethernet adapter and I want a kernel compiled with the drivers. Anyone here that can help me with this? I am willing to pay for this service thanks.
Hello,
I own galaxy s8 with wifi chip ripped out of the motherboard (there's no way of fixing it other than replacing whole motherboard)
Is there any way I could make my RT2870 usb wifi adapter work through otg?
Thanks.
Hey,
that is a good question, is that possible to install RTL8192CU drivers for Android/ Galaxy S8/ Exynos Kernel? if yes, how? Or is a Rom available that where it works?
Thx
