I purchased a Note 4 from T-Mobile's website. The back of the sleeve states Printed in USA. And the box states Printed in the USA. Box Made in Mexico. Also, the Android logo on the back of the box looks different from the box made in Vietnam. According to the package, the phone was packaged / manufactured 12/12/2014.
Somethings not ringing here. From all the unboxing videos of the T-Mobile Note 4 I came across online and in-store, they all state Printed in Vietnam on the back of the box.
Is this a repackaged Note 4?
Would greatly appreciate clarification here. Thanks

Anyone know the country of origin of the GSII that Newegg.com is selling?
It doesn't look like it's Europe because in the product picture tour it has what looks to be a US travel charger. Other vendors that sell the GSII show European chargers with a US converter added.
Central, South American maybe?
Bump? Talked to Newegg in an email and they replied made in Korea....sigh.....
Sigh? You rather want one made in china? Remember samsung is in korea.
No, i wanted to know where they imported this phone from not where it was actually manufactured.
Get it from Expansys, they should be shipping UK phones now that supply is keeping up with demand. Tell them you want a UK phone when you place the order and you should be fine. If it ends up being something else, they're easy to work with for exchanges too. They'll also ship the phone back to the UK for you should you ever need warranty work whereas the newegg.com phone is sold without a warranty.
I bought mine from overseaselectronics.com and it came with U.S. samsung OEM charger and last but least it's made in china...but the quality of the phone is top notch, I don't think it's a knock offs....Oh...this version of the phone when you first power on the phone it's in different language as a default.
I just got my SG2 from newegg yesterday. I can't tell where it's from. I guess I'll have to do some more reading to find out what the differences are.

I bought mine from Amazon. It's from Claro carrier in Chile, but I flashed the European ROMs with XEU and they update just fine in KIES.
Thanks nraudigy2.
I did get mine from newegg.com and from what I can tell it's not from Korea.

HI all, I just change from Galaxy S3 to Note3 yesterday arrived finally with black color, I like the metal style finishing inner screen better this time from mt S3 white ^^.
Same time my sisters and 2 others family members also change from Apples to note3, 1 take Telco A contract, 1 take Telco B contract and one buy from Samsung retailer. For me I buy online, also a retailer and have Original Samsung Warranty.
Here I notice 1 different from my family purchase, on my Galaxy Note 3 Box which is nice and "green" with recycle material. I have a chop on my box' sticker with word "Legend". I couldn't find out what is that mean even asked my online retailer no reply. Kindly share if you have same chop on box and know what its mean or different from others.

Many thanks in advance and have a great day onward.
Legendary superphone? Samsung's true flagship?
Might be a retailers security sticker so you cant return anything else in a differet box etc... maby.
If it was bought online it might be a grey import product. To use your sim card it would have to 1st be activated. After turning on, activating the phone with a regional sim card they may have sealed the box again and the sticker is an anti- tamper sticker they have put back on to show it is a new product after they set it up 1st...
I bought one from and it came from Malaysia, I live in Oz, and that was the case...
Ic, that make scense, I also brought @ Malaysia online. Hooray To grey import, that why its a bit cheaper too compare to retailer shop.

Hey guys,
Whether you have the phone purchased outright or subsidised on a plan from your service provider - did you receive your box SEALED by LG at all? If yes, please advise how or what it was sealed with (sticker?) or if it looked opened and re-sealed (eg: tape).
If no, please comment where you purchased from. My last 6 phones have been from Samsung...and from what I'm hearing which I'm yet to confirm, is LG don't have a seal on their G4 box. Or does it vary by model/location? It shouldn't, but i don't know. Please SHARE your experience.
Thanks!

I got mine from Vodafone when I prolonged my contract and the box was originally sealed with a label
Bell, Canada. Sealed with a transparent-circular sticker.

Thanks! Appreciate that.
I'm beginning to believe it depends on where the G4 model is sourced from...whether it be direct from LG, checked and re-sealed by a carrier or a 3rd party, or not sealed at all.
My story is for dual sim H818P model. JadoPado (in UAE) are a retailer who advise their "supplier" (not direct from LG) don't have seals (or broken ones, for that matter) on them. So my one is without I actually expected this to be the same everywhere, especially if buying outright - ie ONE standard brand-name seal...but it's not the case!

I got mine from tropical mobile. It had a sticker but there was glue from a previous sticker that had been removed.
My Verizon model came with no seal.
Amazon us had two clear circles. I do think what you get is regional.
Also in the US I know best buy and sprint will sell opened phones. They have opened new phones right in front of me to show me a feature ( the best buy demo did not have the leather back so the guy opened a new one for me). I also rejected an opened phone once and left the store...
Yes straight from lg

Bought from T-Mobile, no seal.
From Sprint - Sealed on both sides of the box.
I bought mine sim free from Carphone Warehouse with no seal. I thought it was really unusual, there was no evidence that the box had ever been sealed. First phone I've ever bought that didn't have a seal.

I picked up 3 of them through US Cellular and all 3 had those clear circular pieces of tape on them
815 TW version from seller on Amazon. Long rectangular seal.
I bought my Euro H815 from Handtec.co.uk. No seal.
I had previously purchased an H815T from NeverMSRP and that one was sealed.
Hey guys,
So last week I bought a note 4 off eBay. My last note 4 was lost on a night out in September (21st, never forget ) so I have been using my s4 ever since. I miss the size and display of the note 4, hence i bought a new one.
Here's the link:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282075151295
My last note 4 was the SM-N910F,which I also purchased from eBay (UK seller, it was an auction). The note 4 that i bought last week also claims to be an SM-N910F, the European/international version. The seller is Chinese and has sold a good few of these, he also has great feedback (see link). The phone is said to be brand new, in original box with all OEM accessories. I was feeling a bit iffy, I don't know why, in the days after I bought it so I messaged the seller asking about the authenticity etc. Part of the reply worried me:
". . . . . . . . . . I would like to remind you again, our Note 4 is 100% original from Samsung, but please note that our Note 4 is USA model + software unlocked(Rooted), as described in our item specific . . . . . . . . . ."
Now in the item description, the model number is SM-N910F, and not one of the American models, like SM-N910V or SM-N910A. But the seller says it an American version. So there's that. Also the seller says that the software is "unlocked(rooted)". This is my main concern. Is the seller simply trying to tell me that the phone is unlocked, or is he telling me that he has taken the phone out of the box, rooted it and flashed some kind of custom ROM on it? Just take a quick look at the link and have a look at it on ebay and tell me what you think.
Many thanks.
I do not trust these so called sellers selling "brand new" phones. The phone is brand new and already rooted? Its a US model claiming to be a European model?
Let me tell you what you bought...you bought a refurbished phone (refurbished in China) and because the US models are less wanted than the EU models (lack of Hotspot) they sell these as EU models to increase the price.
These refurbished phones are "brand new" but are in reality refurbished with cheap clone parts from China. Its big business in China. I bought a Note 2 like this...after 2 months I had touchscreen problems and the 3G is not working...
Download the app phone info, it will give you the manufacturing date (mainboard), model number and a lot more if your phone is rooted. It will also tell you if its a V, F, or A model...
You can simply go to download mode and check the real model of the device.. i also bought one the seller claimed it's N910F everything looked okay but when i went to download mode it was N910S (sprint) immediately i returned the device to the seller and received my refund..

Hello, so I'm ready to upgrade my Galaxy 5 and have been looking on ebay for a deal. I see some new phones that ship from China and/or Hong Kong that appear to be a good deal. Brand new, AT&T Galaxy S7 SM-G930A phone for $360. What concerns me is the seller is offering this phone in silver and white, in addition to the more typical black or gold. Was the AT&T Galaxy S7 ever produced in white or silver? I've searched, and so far I can't find this!!! I'm just trying to determine whether the phones are clones!!!!
Thanks in advance for any help provided.
Most likely clones. Not that I saw. It was black or gold at two stores I visited. Don't do it.
