Is it possible to read ntfs on USB without root .?

Is it possible to r/w a ntfs USB drive without a rooted GN3 ?

i9505 kernel??

Hello,
I have official kitkat 4.4.2 on my i9505, i want to change the official kernel with a custom kernel that support usb mass storage!
I don't want to flash any rom because i want the touch wiz and samsung gimmicks feature; air gesture, air view......
Is there any kernel support UMS???

I'm using alucard's kernel and it seems not to work with UMS as well... Don't know how to enable it.
