[Q] Rom Danvdh 5.0 (SuperSu Problem) - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi i installed the ROM which I liked a lot, but I'm suffering from problems in supersu
says I have to update the binary, and I update and not change anything. every time I apps that need access root tells me that not have such permission.
what I could do to fix this? do not want to change because this rom is great!
already returned to ROM 4.4.4 did root and installed this ROM 5.0 but nothing changed, I installed the 1.2.4 kernel Googy and still not have root access.
Anyone know anything I can do?

Did you install the latest supersu package 2.40 is recommended since it's fully working with lollipop

[Q] Why I lost my ROOT when I install another ROM?´

Hi!
This is my question, Why I lost my ROOT when I install another ROM?
I have the following case.....
- CM with Android 4.3 and Rooted, working without problems.
- I install the ROM [JB 4.3 JWR66Y] [Linaro gcc 4.8] ♦ PURITY ROM ♦ (Mako) 24/10 with the CWM (before formating everything)
- I install the last SuperSU version with the CWM, without problems.
- I start the Nexus4, I try to open SuperSU but I receive the error "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it."
- I format everything again with CWM, and I install again only the CM Android 4.3, without SuperSU or something similar.
- I have root permisions.
What I´m doing wrong, to don´t get the Purity Rom with Root??
Problem SOLVED!!
- With the CM Rom, install the SuperSU via CWM.
- Download TWRP (http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/129) and install it, but not "activate" the recovery jet.
- Open SuperSU and desactivate activate the "Super User" check, some times, but leaving at the end activated.
- Open TWRP, give root rights!!! and in options, select "Install open...:"
- Install the Purity ROM via TWRP
- Enjoy
All custom ROMs come rooted. Of course SuperSU isn't going to work; the original SU application and binary are still in place. You never had to flash anything root related.

not true. many custom roms come without supersu or superuser, where it would be the users responsibility to flash either supersu or superuser.
This PURITY ROM comes without Root, thats why they say that you need to use SuperSU

[q] to install update on rom omni 4.4.2 n7100

Hello,
Anyone could help me with this problem:-
I have already rooted my Note 2 N7100 with Omni 4.4.2 Nightly but somehow, on software update, with an update available after checking it, I was unable to flash it successfully. There was an error. I have checked SuperSU as to install SuperSu backup script as I believe it would help me to do update on the current build but I could not do that as it requires installing SuperSu into/system (converting into a system app) first but when I have tried to install and later rebooted my device, it was still the same. On Custom Rom, I could not install supersu backup script and when trying to flash update (after checking it and update is available, it was again not successful.
Any advice?

Flash SuperSU in recovery and then you should be able to install the backup script.

[5.0] [GalaxyS5] [Root] Rooted properly?

Hello everybody,
recently I updated my Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) to Android Lollipop 5.0, After that I downloaded CF Auto Root and it looked like it rooted perfectly, it rebooted in the screen with the red android pirate thingy and after that it rebooted my device with SuperSU installed on it. Then I started downloading some root apps to see if it worked. Root Checker said my device was rooted and then I downloaded GameCIH, it asked for root access and I granted the root access but when it was done loading it says: System Deny to Root. I searched the internet and found out that GameCIH doesn't work on Honeycomb or above, so i tried downloading SB Game Killer or Game Guardian, but both asked for root access but crashed after a couple of seconds so i tried re-rooting but when i opened SuperSU it sayed: There is no SU Binary installed, and SU can't install one. This is a problem! If you just switched to Android 5.0, then you need to re-root your device manually.
Can anyone help me with this problem, because I dont know what to do?
You use the latest ODIN to flash CF-ROOT ?
3.10.6 is latest iirc

Have you got busybox installed. Some apps need busybox. Install it from playstore and install busybox.

Rooting lollipop LS980

I think I may have boned myself a bit. I had kitkat 4.4.2 stock rom rooted with stumproot, and I did the OTA upgrade to lollipop. Not suprisingly, apps that need root no longer work. I installed rootchecker and it reports no root access. I installed stumproot again and it says that the device is already rooted. When I open supersu is says there is no supersu binary installed and it cannot install it.
What are my options on how to re-root my phone?

SuperSu Binaries are not installed and SuperSu cannot install these binaries.

Hello there, I've been looking around online looking for a way to solve my SuperSu problem, but I haven't found a solution yet I was wondering if you guys could help me.
I installed my root using Odin and CF-ROOT I then realized I had both, Kingroot and SuperSU. Kingroot was the one with the root authorization and SuperSU did not have root authorization. Before I did anything SuperSU used to say "Binaries need to be updated use Normal Or TWRP/CWM," but after I used "Replace kingroot with supersu" It now says "No binaries are installed and SuperSU cannot install them." I'VE tried many methods to solve this. By the way I'm new to this stuff.
Methods used: About Device:
1. Flash updates binaries. 1. Model number: SM-G900T
2. Flashed SuperSU update. 2. Android version: 4.4.2
3. Tried to eradicate SuperSU.
