There is a slow trickle of what Sony has in store for its apps as it moves to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Some slight hints were seen in the recent Sketch update and now we get a better idea in the TrackID Beta (4.1.B.0.5), which has been given a new material design inspired makeover.
Check out some of the screenshots below, showing flat graphical assets being used across many screens. We are likely to see other Sony apps being updated over the coming weeks.

Currently taking a list of Beta testers. Please email me at [email protected] if you're interested in alpha testing this UI.
It's still pretty early but it's very functional.
Comments or questions are also appreciated. What features would you like to see with this? What features would you take out?
Thanks!

It looks really nice!
Is it based on the FLASH technology?
Further I saw the apps behind the UI have the normal WM6 look. I think there should be a full package with the same UI!
But it's still a VERY nice looking Beta I think!
This looks good, Send it to me and I will test it...

Looks like you have to sign-up at the provided e-mail adress!
Little by little I want to replace as many of the apps as possible with the same look and feel, but that'll be closer to beta
good! thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well... not really "optimized" but suitable for using the new navigation, with the "XPERIA" logo neatly off to the side.
I made this all from scratch in Photoshop just now, with inspiration from, the Zune-style/leaked pre-beta screenshots, which I thought looked neat and want to have on my own XPERIA.
Greetings go out to the devs who are now proceeding full-on with dishing out WM6.5 ROM's.
If you notice: the light disperses into the peach/fuschia/lime/red colours as marketed througout XPERIA backgrounds/advertising and of course: hexagons-- the latest fad Microsoft just sparked. hehe.
*ugh* i didn't make it 800x800 because then it gets compressed depending on the view which is lame, so I'll make a landscape one later and make it into theme CAB which will use an alternate background for landscape mode.
Low-quality preview (looks a bit better on your XPERIA ):
