Hi guys,
I wanted a rooted version of XXJPQ firmware....as I'm noir able to root it through the super one click.....
Please help and it should be rooted not odexed or deodexed...
Ha if live wallpapers are enabled well and good
So want only these three features
1.Rooted
2.Live wallpapers enabled
3.And also if possible remove the disturbance sound that occurs in music player while screen unlock is done/power button is used....
Apart from these three no changes
Nothing more than this....please make this asap....

If you new to the Android world rooting is the equivalent of jailbreak you can install as much modes hacks and themes as you want in this thread I will be explaining what you can do with your s3 running official Sammy rom:
1- Themes
In the themes section we have a collection of themes for every taste and firmware but make SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE CORRECT THEME OR YOU WILL GET BOOTLOOP
2- Jkay framework
This was one of the main reason I rooted it is compatible with all firmwares official only not leaked and can customise your ui with anything you like
3- boot animations
Imagine putting a bios boot screen or the boot screen of a nexus device all that is possible again with root
4- Custom kernel
My favourite one is Presus it contains both an audio and screen engine these enhance your battery life give extra boost to your performance while maintaining a perfect balance
5- other phone goodies
Like the xperia z lock screen how about the pop up browser from note 2 all these are available as flushable packages in the themes and apps section
6- startup scripts
Want to swap your memory cards make your phone faster all these can be done with startup scripts

You forgot the most important. Flashing custom ROM's. Custom ROM's often comes with multiple tweaks and features not available(or compatible) from official Samsung ROM's. From those ROM's you can get hybrid(Mixed) features from Samsung/AOSP/AOKP/CM
you don't have to be rooted for that though

Hi, well I'm new to this site so if I've done anything wrong by posting here and it's the wrong place then please forgive me... I'm also new to rooting and modding. I've modded my S4 i9505 quite a bit but feel that something is missing... So I'm here to request something which I hope will make my system complete. I'm currently using a modded Xperia Z launcher, but what I'm looking for is just the home screen app dock from the Z. NOT the apps or The ugly app drawer icon. So I really hope this is out there or is possible for a developer to do. Apologies for this long A** request but I want to get as much detail in as possible. Here are my system specs...

Hey I started this post so people can put their apps from anothers versions that work in GT-I9506. Because in apps section are no apps for our phone. So at Start most of these apps and mods are someboby others creations, so let the credits go where do they belong!!! I have installed note 4 weather app in my 4.4.2 it is from albe´s NOTE4 apps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/themes-apps/exclusive-note-4-apps-collection-t2882577. S-Voice works too, but it is better to put in system/app. Right permissions 0644/ rw--r--r--. allso pas2001 bootanimations work. albe´s s5 music player works. So namanagraval_93 music player, witch is actually A5 music player:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2697455. Frageti´s Finger howering:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2705514. S6 messages work; it´s beatyful and fully working. And many themes work, as long you remember to look that system ui haven´t moded. If that is modded you need nanoid or vr theme back up. And remember to look if you are deodexed or odexed. Example A5 musicplayer works perfectly but I`m de-odexed rom. so I delete odex files from priv.app and app. If you know more put it here. And allways KEEP NANOID. i'm trying to activate the one hand mode, (easyonehand.apk) do you have info about it?

Witch one of them? In my phone I can't use it it wont work. Not even with xposed. Try to put in apps or priv.apps set permissions, reboot and set phone to easymode. I don't have easymode at all.

No, I meen witch 4.4.2? I have I9506XXCNJ1 and if you have deo it is not stock, you have root.... And if you folloed the instructions and it wont work it wont. When I know your rom I can try to make you one that works.

i have CNI1
i think i have understood why it doesn't works, i need to edit android.policy.jar for our 9506, but i don't know how...
i've found another one here now i've restored the nandroid backup prior to te deodexing...so it's just stock with root
this mod, anyway, need a deodexed rom
DeHawk. Allready deodexed and there is autoroot and everything in 1 page. Android policy.jar wont be enough, but I found one promising mod. I'm gonna try to make mod there for you. I'm ripping it from s5 mod for 9506.

in the last thread mentioned, the one for 9505, page 2, they just edited policy to make it compatible to 9500
i don't like to install a custom rom now because i'm scared about eventual bugs...with my old phone i'm finding bugs...now...after a year of use...i don't want that happen again...and i just don't know what this rom can do and what not...when i know the stock rom well, maybe i'll look for something more...

Ok, but you cant use the mod with standard, you need permessive. After you install permessive you can edit your own androidpolicy.jar and download from EX.DeHawk's allready modded secsettings and edit only needed lines. I have used modded rom three years and if rom ok, no bugs. And in DeHawk,s rom is no bugs. It's better than original.

ok i've taken a policy from here and i used the file from the 9505 mod, i have deodex but no permissive, now i see the settings, i can activate it, but it doesn't work :crying:
you are talking about permissive but is not mentioned in the threads of this mod, anyway now i try to force permissive with an app and i'll report back...
ps. now is permissive, doesn't work.
it'd strange that works on every s4 models but the 9506...
Yes that is proplem with this phone. We know that it works with every other... I'm gonna try something and report back. It should work with those modifications.

You need to download tw camera app for cm. There are many versions to choose from just look it up in here xda.
And for washwash. I just got back from holiday, and no success yet. I made one version and it didn't work. Starting to think that its too mutch for my talents. I have one more option to try. Porting it from some rom.
But if it's keyboard that you need, that is easy: just install LG keyboard with onehand options. But I check out the porting from rom. After when I found rom where it's working.

i've found this it's for E300S, the eastern version of the 9506, i tried to download it from here with the help of google translator but i can't successfully complete the download, only around 25% and then it stop
anyway i wish i've never bought it, there is just nothing for that phone, even the usb mass storage is bugged as hell.
ps. no, the eastern variant is the E330S

Sorry that aswer. Wrong language... That rom what you was refering is not straight compatible with gt-i9506. There is some difference in software and there is some difference in hardware too. Arter97 can tell you more. And that skt rom removes normal tw-rom. There is awailable xploded one-hand mode. Allso when googled one hand mode for s4 you get one hand mode for 4.4.2. Not tamida's version. But it wont install. I tested. But when I extracted it and installed it one by one with root explorer I got it working.

I want to get rid of WhatsApp which is a system app, anyway without root? if possible, please paste a link to the tutorial on how to do it.

Hi the best way to remove a System App is by using root. (http://kingroot.br.uptodown.com/android)
After you rooted it, is just going to play store and intall this app to remove de apps (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jumobile.manager.systemapp)
Anyway you can also follow this tutorial and remove them without rooting

The best roms now to me are on XDA:
If you want just battery life expanded install one like Helios Or Ressurection
If you want more functions like a lot of customize options use one like Superman or Renovate And you will not lose that look of samsung on main interface
If you want to go further, install an s8 port or s8+ like batman or Sac23's Roms
Personally i use the sac23's rom v5

it helps me with my roms question. but with my uninstalling the app question, i have already tried debloater. i have tried all possible ways. but was not able to succeed. :/

1. As much as I know about your writing, you want root. So it's no big deal to remove the app system you want (with root). I usually use titanium backup for it.
2. If you still want without root, maybe this can be tried.
