[Q] unlock droid x for another network

Hi,
is there any chances to unlock my Droid-X so that it can work on another network ?
to be specific I want to use Droid-X here in India on either Reliance or Tata (both CDMA) carriers.
I have read around in forums that people had unlocked droid to work with metroPCS, so wants to know if any one have tried similar thing with Droid-X ?
Thanks in advance and appreciate any lead for this, as I love my Droid-x and wants to keep using it after I move back to india too ...

Anyone??? I came across some post and someone was successful in doing so... But the procedure is not given... Pls help!!!

You'd need to be able to replace/modify the UIM(CDMA equivalent of a SIM card) to change carriers, I don't know anything about it but there's probably a tutorial somewhere online.

In china, we run droidx in China Telecom, but you need some carrier information like IMSI ESN AKEY AN/AAA and write it to droidx use QPST

Hi everyone i Have an Tmobile Hd2 and decided to get it unlocked to use in Central America.
its Imei is 357779031757071
i got from the supplier 2 codes:
nck :224570648240
--------------------------
spck:394227778117
now where do i enter these cause if i put in a sim on the phone and try to type the nck it wont accept the last 4 digits

You need to email the folks who gave you the codes and ask them.

You need to open your File Manager and go to the Windows file. You should see a file called SIMLock open and run that and it will ask for the code.

I think his problem is that the code he is entering is not working, not that the phone isn't asking for the code.

First my friend you dont give ut IMEI number publicly NEVER! after that if you are referring to UNLOCK code to change carriers (ex. Tmobile to ATT) : to unlock it you need to switch the sim card for another one that its not Tmobile (or the carrier that you bought the phone from) after that it will tell you, "SIM LOCKED" enter the 7 digits unlock code below.
If ur cell is a TMOBILE USA it needs 7 digits unlock codes, only numbers, IDK about othe models of HD2
after you input the digits the phone will tell you UNLOCKED and the passcode windows will despair, and done your HD2 is unlocked. if you need more help PM me

No sim unlock? Failed unlock code even.

I have a bell Samsung s4 that I want to sim unlock.
I tried to buy a code from unlock code Republic, but was told they were unable to generate a code.
I tried the *#0011# method, but can't get into the UMTS.
Is there a better way? At this point I just need the phone to work now.
Please help.

Hi I have this s5 and turns out it is on the network Ntelos from US and right now I am in Ireland is it possible to unlock to a different network so it can work over here?

Typically you will need the unlock code to unlock the phone.
You can buy it online, or follow this topic to request it for free (if any luck).

[Q] Not able to get the unlock code## plz can anyone help

My friend brought samsung galaxy s5 (sm g900f) from paris(France). Actually what happened is I have updated the OS 4.4.2 to 5.0 with out unlocking the mobile. So now when i insert a new(India) sim, it is not asking any unlock code. Is there any way to resolve this problem. I am not able to unlock my phone. If any one know how to do please do share the method with me.....Thanks
