Hi everyone,
I will try to make it short to not bother you reading this post.
I made ne app using google map, got my api key, all is fine.
When I test my app on my phone via the SDK, the map appear and all is ok.
I compiled my app, send the apk on the google market, I download my app, installed it and now google map doesn't appear?
I check the statistics of my api key on the console developer of google... no requests anymore!
Did somebody can tell me what to do please? If you want to try the app you can find it on google play under the name Croatia Real Estate or find it buy my developer name pgx design.
Thanks for you time and help, wish you all the best.
Guy.

Hi,
I Cannot purchase/upgrade applications through the Market.
I have no problem downloading & installing apps however when I want to purchase/upgrade from trial to full, I am getting message like this:
No search results.
There are no matches in Android Market for the search:
pname:com.vscorp.android.alphamixr
This happened to me with all apps that I wanted to purchase their full version.
Can someone assist?
Thanks
Hi,
You're probably not in a Google supported region..
Try searching the forums for market enabler app. You do have to root the phone to be able to use the app, but if you really want to purchase apps from Android market, then that's probably the only thing to do until Google starts supporting your region.
Other option is to start using some optional app providers such as SlideMe.org's SAM application (http://slideme.org/).
Not even sure if there are others...
Anyone know of any apps for quick searching for phone numbers? Obviously one could use a browser and google..but what about a simple app that wouldn't take for ever to load, where you could type in a name and it would have 2 buttons, one to search people and one to search businesses..If anyone would even want to help guide me on how to create an app like this I'm up for it too...Not a programmer by trade but I can hack some code with the best of them. Let me know...Thanks
google maps does works well, so does the bing app.
hi there i am looking for an app that will give me location history, i know there are plenty of apps out there like Google latitude, find my friend but what I was looking is, it will show me what locations they have been to because
i run a small leaflet business where i send people to distribute leaflets to doors but i think few of my employees are lying, as they take work phone with them i want to install such an app that will save their location and show me which area they have been to. i tried google latitude but it only shows where they are in real time. haven't found any app that will give me their location history which i can have look later in the day to check if they have done their job properly.
i hope someone understands me and advice me if there is any app that i can use.
thanks
Download Google My Tacks app. It will do what you want.

Hello all Grand Prime users out there. I am here to ask a few questions about ok google so lets start.
1. As we know that we cannot start google app by saying ok google from homescreen or lockscreen. (on Stock rom or without any app).
2. I want to know something from you all that how many of u can start google app by saying ok google from any screen. ( I am asking because tommorow when i wrongly said ok google from homescreen a setup came it said add your voice. Now my ok google can only activate if i said ok google not by others.)
3. I want to know if u guys can also do the same like above questions without any app or custom rom then it means now ok google command is available for all of us. If u cannot activate ok google like this then tell me I will help u how to do it.
See the screenshots in attachments.
Give answers soon. Dont forget to mention my name so i will be notified.

Well I can't get Ok Google everywhere. it just work on the Google app but I use assistant enabler xposed module which gives me option to enable ok Google everywhere and it also gets me an option to enable Google assistant
I don't know anything about ok Google, recognizing only one specific person it may be possible that the others person accent is not acceptable for the app or maybe the option really exist
Whatever ,just tell me how do you achieved this

Hi. I want to change my default Navigation app to basically ANYTHING except Google Maps. Wanted either CoPilot, Here, or Waze. I have my search provider set to Bing even but when I click on any direction link, it takes me to Google Maps. I've gone into Apps and even disabled that and ensured other Nav apps are set to open always, but it still goes to Google and Then takes me to the Play Store so I can download/Enable Maps. Any way around this? Pretty crappy of Google to do this....
Go to settings/apps & notifications/default apps/opening links. Scroll down to Maps and click on it. Click on open supported links and select don't open in this app. Hopefully it will let you choose your other navigation app when you click on a link but I've never tried that. The reason Android wants to use Maps is because Maps is integrated with Google Play Services and your Google account and a third party app won't provide the same kind of integration because it would require giving a third party app elevated privileges that are not allowed without root.
Hi and thanks. I had already tried that unfortunately. It doesn't work. ANY link you click for directions on a web page, even if asked to open only gives the option of Edge and Maps. A calendar invite or something like that will ask and give a list of valid mapping applications like Waze, Here, etc. But links on a web page......only Maps.
Having Maps integrated with Google Play services is just another reason NOT to want to use it.

If you're rooted there might be a tasker profile that does what you want but it doesn't seem to be possible without root.

Thanks for the reply. Bummer. So Google locks you into their apps even if you search with Bing. Seems like Microsoft got in a lot of trouble with the government about 20 years ago over this sort of tactics.
