I'm trying to install Danvh's Google Edition 5.0 ROM, and loki-ifying the ROM is failing on all fronts.
Flashing Loki as a zip fails. A user recommended I try jeboo's recovery or Philz. Both recoveries return
Code:
E: [-] Failed to mmap aboot
E: Error loki-ifying the boot image
TWRP also fails to Loki properly.
What is causing the problem here? Plenty of users on the thread got it working, yet it refuses to work on my device. My device IS on the older baseband and still supports Loki, at least as far as I am aware.

Hi,
I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505. During the last few days I tried to update from Android 4.2.2 to 4.3 (using OTA, Kies, Odin (Windows PC and Mac)) but had lots of issues. In the end I managed to flash some partition files with Heimdall 1.4 (using a Mac). The phone boots correctly and the status says "Android 4.3". But since some partition files failed to be flashed some components, like WLAN, don't work at all.
Successfull:
Boot
Cache
Hidden
Recovery
System
Failed:
Apnhlos
Aboot
Mdm
Rpm
Sdl2
Sdl3
Tz
The latter ones fail with the Error:
Failed to unpack received packet.
Failed to confirm end of file transfer sequence.
Upload failed.
Suggestions to use Heimdall 1.3.x doesn't work. Flashing fails with the Error Failed to initialize Protocol.
I assume that I don't have permissions to write onto these partitions. I might be wrong, but I don't know how to check and change this.
I'd be thankful for any idea how to continue!
Hi, My phone is currently in a bootloop, I had 4.4.2 installed previously, and I'm trying to flash back to stock by adb pushing the rom to my phone and flashing via cwm 6.0.4.x. When I flash the rom it doesn't work and gives me the error: "E: error in /data/media/0/rom.zip (status 7).
How can I fix this? I've tried looking for the assert line for the device thingy in the meta-inf/com/google/android/updater-script, but it doesn't have those lines.
Also, I cannot connect to the computer via download mode. So kdz flashing is a no-go
which G2 version are u? i'd recommend u update your recovery to either twrp 2.7.0.0 or Philz ..
i'm having no problem whatsoever flashing roms with twrp :good:
I've rooted my phone a dozen times, flashed TWRP and CWM before via recovery and Odin. Yesterday EVERY aplication started to give me a "Unfortunately, xxxx stopped working" and my phone would enter the system.
I flashed a new rom (5.0 N900XXUEBOA6) and since then, can't root my device.
If i try to use Odin, i have the "Nand write fail" error, if i try the recovery "E: failed to verify whole-file signature" "E: signature verification failed"
I don't think that a factory reset would help my problem, therefore, would you guys have any insight on what seems to be the problem?
Hi,
I tried to flash CM (12) on my D802.
I used this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...ols-how-to-install-twrp-bump-d80230a-t3072186 to install TWRP 2.8.6.1 from my lollipop stock.
I moved cm-12-20150501-NIGHTLY-d802 and gapps-lp-20141212-signed to the root, wiped factory default and tried to flash CM.
Error message: assert failed: run_program("/system/bin/loki.sh") == 0
Error executing updater binary in zip /sdcard/cm....
I even tried to wipe internal storage, install CM 11 or 10...
What did i do wrong? Did I missed a step? I'm now in recovery mode and I am afraid to reboot because I dont know what will happen.
Please help me!
Thanks
EDIT:
Restarted and realized that the phone is in an "security error" boot loop. Maybe the root/recovery flash didnt work as expected.
-> Fix: Hold power and Vol+ until in download mode. Fix update errors with the LG PC Suite.
Tried it again.
root -> TWRP -> flash.
The phone boots with TWRP. But when you wipe to factory defaults, the g2 gets stuck in a security error loop.
Same error here "Error executing updater binary in zip /sdcard/cm....".
Was someone able to install CM on their LG G2 D802 lollipop stock?
Hello. I have a XOLO Play Tegra Note 7.
A couple of days back I, in an attempt to flash a ROM that I downloaded from the NVIDIA website, I accidentally flashed a boot file from a CyanogenMod image that I downloaded for another purpose. Now, I'm neither able to flash the correct boot image (it is not recognised by adb) nor apply update through bootloader recovery (it says E:footer is wrong, E:signature verification failed). All that's happening is that its bootlooping.
