Need help with music commands (playlists, shuffle) - Wear OS Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey everyone!
When I'm driving I like to play a playlist in shuffle mode. At the moment I have to pull out my phone to accomplish this and that kinda sucks while driving. With my old iPhone I could tell Siri "shuffle playlist favorites" and be on my way. I figure that there must be a Google Now phrase to accomplish this task, be it on my phone or smartwatch.
My questions are: Is there a way to open a playlist through voice command? Is there a command to "shuffle?"
I am using the standard Play Music app and a G Watch R. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Playlists Help

Hi everyone.
Im trying to see if anyone can give any suggestions in regards to getting playlists to work properly on my phone. Let me define what I mean by properly.
Right now I can create a playlists in a number of applications on my computer including DoubleTwist, Windows Media Player, and Motorola Media Link. When I transfer those playlists to my phone they show up and play in both the default music player and DoubleTwist. The problem I keep running into is when I try to play a playlist using a voice command a message comes up saying "The Selected playlist is empty" but it really is not. I can go into a music player and play it right away.
The only way I am able to get a playlist to play with a voice command is if I actually create that playlist on the phone while in the default music player. Its somewhat tedious to do that so I would like to be able to make the playlists on my computer then sync them to the phone.
Does anyone have a solution for this? Im not even against using a different voice command app if it will let me play playlists via voice command. This is just an important feature for me when I have my phone docked on the car dock.
I greatly appreciate any help.

Start music player from watch

Hi. I noticed I get a music player card on the watchface when playing music (native android music player), but I still have to initiate from phone. I tried a plethora of voice commands, but only succeded in opening up obscure youtube flix or google searches.
Is there a command i missed, is there a widget, do I need to use google music?
Thx in advance
I think it depends on what music player you are using. Spotify works using the "Ok Google". I use Tasker + Autowear for quick access to music players, apps, etc. If Google Now doesn't recognize your voice well, you can try to train it or try the non-voice options.
So which are the non voice options? I'd rather go with them tbh. I use native android music player.
I went and got tasker + wear tasker. Not altogether happy with the latter, but it works.

View smartphone playlist on smartwatch

Hi, I have searched everywhere on the net, asked (neck-scratching) people in shops and have not been able to find information about it, though it seems a fair enough feature to ask for:
Is there a smartwatch out there on which you can view and scroll in a music playlist on a SMARTPHONE (not the watch itself) and select tracks on that playlist + control the volume, fast forwards/backwards, etc. there (on the phone)?
Perhaps it is a quetion of installing the right app on the watch and/or phone? I would really appreciate some help on that. The watch wouldn't have to be fancy in anything else, could be basic, though it would be nice if it were not too big. I want to use it to play music on the phone for dance classes. The phone would be connected to a stereo system.
Cheers
