Remember this forever: If your phone model is SM-G900F and the firmware is for SM-G900F then you can flash the rom. That's it.
If you want to be able to get faster help in the future a good tip is to put your specs in your signature (like my signature). Also always read all of the stickies they are there for a reason. Don't post questions until you've done a search. There are two ways to do this 1 use the site's search function 2 use googe like this "QUESTION GOES HERE? site:xda-developers.com" .

Please please please do your bloody research my dear uk resident.. It makes me very sad when people who want to play around and experiment with their devices can't be bothered to look further then their own nose. If it's that much of a bother to waste 15-30 minutes on basic researching and reading threads (like all the rest of us do) then you might as well buy yourself a dumbphone. That will save you alot of time and effort which you don't want to put in anyways. Your question has been asked tons of times before and there are AFAIK at least three threads concerning this firmware. Yet you go out of your way to trash this forum with your lazyness and create this pointless thread. Please waste a little of your OWN time next time and read up. Good luck and don't upset me anymore I'm very sensitive.

Sometimes carriers make special deals for specific or exclusive specifications for their branded hardware. You got what you paid for on the box. And at the time you were happy. Electronics market changes faster than we blink. There is always going to be something come out better after you buy something. All we can do is try to make what we have the best.
@manmute
The US model does not work in Europe. Forget about it.
There's absolutely no reason to complain, because it's only natural that technology gets better with time. The people in the US have to wait almost half a year longer.
I suggest closing this thread immediately, we've had this kind of BS before.
Closing this thread as there is another identified one on the same subject running.

No need for the elitism, not everyone has trailed through all of the available Samsung websites, it's perfectly fine for someone to question the validity of a site that wants to install stuff to your phone.

I'm running XXJP3 Froyo - it has lots and lots of bugs and in my experience unusable without editing build.prop (which needs root)
I'm sitting tight for the final golden Froyo release which should be end of September.

It is good of you to lift the quality of this site, chill out, give the man a break. we are not all as clever as you.
Hello,
I have done lots of searching but cannot find anything definitive, there seems to be lots of different solutions all from different dates so I am getting real confused! Maybe I'm searching the wrong thing :s
I just want to turn my UK WiFi only tab back to stock please, if someone could post a link to the correct rom then that would be AMAZING and much much appreciated!!
I am going to sell it so I want to make sure people get the updates when they come through etc
Many Thanks!!
I haven't rooted my Tab, so you'll need advice from others re flashing this type of file, but you can get the zip file from samfirmware. That's presuming that your Tab would have been just the same UK model as mine that has the standard software updated (3.2 now).
Please don't blame me if something goes wrong, I'm just trying to hook you up with the file.
You'll need to register on the samfirmware site.
Link to the download page http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&t=3&o=1&m=GT-P7510&r=1#modelsa
This is the screenprint from my Tab.

Here's a screenprint from the samfirmware site, showing what I believe to be the same firmware (PLEASE DO CHECK).

Hello everyone!
I know lot of threads are open just to make noise around the update but since this morning there is new elements.
I had to update a "motorola update" app on my phone which litteraly is to allow update to lollipop.
There is also a new link to check if lollipop is out for your device according to your provider:
https://motorola-global-en-uk.custhelp.com/app/software-upgrade-news
Hope it will help...

First if all, everyone got the update for contextual services, not just UK, and it's already spoken about on another thread.
Second, the link you have is broken

Lot of threads talk about everything. I thought something clear would help people find the information they want at this period.
What is the problem of people reporting this kind of stuff? Things like this are going to be here until the L arrives. Period. Its hurting noone ...

Hi guys.
I'm new to the Samsung Tab A community. I recently purchased a Samsung Tab A 7.0 - Volte enable tab. As usual samsung has loaded it with too much junk. I would like to either de-bloat the current OS. Or would like to flash a custom rom. I tried a bit of searching and found a few threads about roms. But i am not able find any proper link to flashing process, roms and recovery. Please help me in this regard.
Excuse me if I am re-posting. Thanks guys.
Me too debloatware my TabA
Dont get your hopes uo i havent found anything, just been looking as well. It would be good to get rid of some of the bloatware on here considering the memory available.
I think there were a few i found a while back which i have mosplaced but never got around to installing.
Im not sure but i think i found them on pirate bay which is probably why i was hesitant to install considering sites like that and its users and tapped into every back door there is out there.
Im thinking root the phone then manually delete system files like kids mode and samsung internet and a few other apps built in.
One thing to keep in mind is there are some files which the OS needs so back up, remove, test back up, remove, test and so on.
That way you can roll back to previous versions.
I dont think many people do it because of the headaches. There is no majic button to do it auto in 2 minues. Even developers hesitate.
If a smart phone dies is it bricked? Those were the old blocky phones right? Now a brick. Now a frisbee.
