the 5.0 update is already out. my shield got 5.0 yesterday, you just have to check your device and have it check for updates.

I know its out but when I try to update in doesn't see the update. Im stuck on 4.4 kitkat

It is not the same update as any XT1058 has received, this update is for the US dev edition/tmobile retail edition, model number XT1053.

Fair enough, but by saying they are the "same" it might lead someone to try flashing it to the wrong model phone, which can lead to a brick. We have seen it happening several times here lately so some of us just want to be really clear about such things.
I'm rooted, so what should I do? Should I unroot and then re-root? Or use OTA Rootkeeper?
Not sure if anyone else has seen but verizon is rolling out 4.4.2 now for their P605. Hopefully should be good enough for the devs to push out a rom.
That's a first. Usually VZW is usually the last-of-the-last to roll out an update. The U.S. carriers omit the dialer and MMS plus their radios are proprietary. I wouldn't install the VZW ROM on a non-VZW N10.1-14.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, Model SGH-I337M, Running Android 4.4.2. I am on Telus Canada, but I don't think I downloaded the correct rom for it, when I went to revert it back to stock, because when I try to check for a software update, it says "Your device has been modified. Software updates are not available.
Would it be possible for someone to post a link on where I can get the official Telus Canada Rom?

I keep getting the system update notifications but when I go to click on it then its not there. I then go into settings and look to see if there's an update but it says I'm up to date. Any idea what this means,I'm on a stock unrooted galaxy s4 the T model for Sprint. 4.4.2 and OA3. Thanks.

I think it's because they sent out the OD1 OTA to the L720T and then immediately pulled it. They are testing OD2 on both variants now.

OK thanks,I figured that cuz every time I turn on data or WiFi it shows for a second or 2 in notifications but then disappears. I can always count on u for an answer bro,?.

Sorry, its working on my phone's browser and my laptop's browser, I don't use the XDA app much anymore, it's easier for meto just use a web browser, even on my phone. If you go to the Tab 4 General section, I was talking about my thread there, titled [LINKS][FIRMWARE] Tab 4 Official Lollipop 5.x Firmware Collection All Models [ODIN]
